First presentation

I did my first and official college presentation today! I guess it was okay, but i know i could have done better! :(

My classmates said i did well, but when i compared myself to some of my other classmates’ presentation, mine was pretty.. argh!

I wanna push Gene Lih off a cliff because his presentation was freaking good. It was so in the zone, ARGH!

The presentation was for English class and the lecturer said that it’s a free topic and all we gotta do is make things interesting and bring along our visual aid.

So i decided to talk about Pocky, since i have a couple of them at home.

I kinda screwed up my presentation in a sense that i missed out a couple of facts. I freaked out lah! I was the 3rd person to go up and do my presentation (we drawed numbers last week, so.. yeap).

Since i didn’t manage to tell my class, i’m gonna type it out here! *syok sendiri*

I bet most people think Pocky (or shall i say Rocky), only has 2 flavours which are strawberry and chocolate.

For extra information, Pocky is renamed into Rocky in Malaysia because it sounds a little like the vulgar word in Malay (i noticed my lecturer was smiling/laughing when i said this during my presentation).

There’s seasonal flavours such as honey for spring, and kiwi mango for summer. Yum! Special flavours which are only available in certain regions in Japan are such as grape, which is available in Nagano and yubari melon, which is available in Hokkaido.

Somebody please get me these if you’re going to Japan!! ;___;

And since my presentation is about the Japanese snack, Pocky, my lecturer asked me last week or so whether am i gonna put on a kimono to set the mood right.

.. Good idea.

Tadaa!

I’m holding my Tsubu tsubu strawberry Pocky cause it’s my personal favourite and my Dessert Pocky cause it’s pretty. Haha! Oh, and i borrowed this red yukata from my classmate, Kinny :3

This picture was taken by my awesome classmate, Kai Shaun, with his DSLR. Reason why he’s awesome because he has a DSLR, hurhur! Picture edits by me :)

I ended my presentation by saying,

“Before i end my presentation, i would like to share this box of Pocky Crush with everyone in this class!”

Something like that.. can’t remember how i said it. So.. yeap, i’ve got 1 packet left in the box. It’s like eating gold, Nicole my classmate said. But if it got my decent marks for my oral presentation then it’s worth it.

Not to mention was damn good. Nothing compared to those cheap cheap Pocky. Definitely worth it.
