Cutting ropes
Sometimes i get really tired of blogging. Blogging is so much more different compared to last time. Back then, no one really cares what you blog about. There was so much freedom in blogging.
Now, lots people take up blogging for the wrong reasons. And it always feels like you’re being watched under a microscope cause you always gotta watch what you type.
Not only people judge you by the way you type, but also your pictures. They observe the shit out of every single thing in every picture. Especially those busy bodies.
What i hate most is the fact that the blog is no longer personal. I feel like i watch what i type too much until i forgot what it felt like to actually write about what and how i truly feel about something.
Nowadays if we blog about something so personal, people will start talking behind your back and jump into conclusions when they don’t even know you. And that sucks.
To be honest, i don’t do that kind of shit. I don’t even read blogs, except the ones i link in my blog. So yeah..
And i know i’m not the only one who feels this way. I know that there are others who feels the same way as i do.
But when i heard the idea about Cutting Ropes, it’s like i found the solution to everything.
Cutting Ropes is based on the blog Post Secret. Except that they do digital files instead of the postcard snail mail thing.
You can share your secret with everyone by just submitting them to the site. The best thing is, you don’t have to reveal yourself! You still can remain an anonymous even though you’re spilling your darkest secret.
It’s like a chance to spill everything out without telling anyone or even writing them in your blog.
I mean, come on. You think you’re the only one with a problem? You’ll be surprised that there’s many others that’s going through the same thing as you. And i personally think that it feels good to know that you’re not facing it alone.
You don’t have to be a photoshop genius to contribute to Cutting Ropes. Just a simple image with your secret in it will do. You can even use Paint for all i care. It’s the flaws that makes it unique.
I think it’s great if you can use pictures of your own. But it’s alright if you use images from other places, just make sure it’s not copyrighted or anything. Stealing is not cool.
I hope everyone all over Malaysia will take part in this and help it grow. So, help spread the word about Cutting Ropes :)
