Nu member!

Maroon 5 – Wake Up Call

Dropped by Jason’s place to hang out for a bit today. Met his nuuu member, Belle the pussycat. She’s a pure white Siamese cat.

I hate to admit it, but she’s quite cute. Maybe it’s because her fur (which is quite soft too) is white. And i have a thing for the colour white.

Bleh!

Me VS. cat

I’m down with a slight cold. Hope i get better tomorrow. Signing off with a picture taken with Jason’s personally made tofu teddy! Eh, come to think of it, it’s still unnamed yet :O

Chelsea Asia Tour 2008 – Malaysia

Mm nopes, i didn’t buy any Chelsea merchandise during the game! I just bought some random devil’s horn in blue outside the Shah Alam Stadium.

They have the horns in red too but i figured it’ll be super weird to wear RED horns to a BLUE’s match. So yeap.

The line to get in the stadium was massive! It was crazy long and they almost had a riot. I thought of cutting queues some more, but i didn’t want to squeeze in among those sweaty.. men o_o;;

Look. At the amount of PEOPLE!

Ivin, Daniel, Simon, myself and David

Litterbug Simon! :P

Much thanks to David for the ticket! :)

Ivin and i doing the ladies’ thing during half time, cause that’s what ladies do!

Honestly, i’m not a football person. But i thought that the match was rather entertaining. Ended sooner than i thought. Gotta admit that Malaysia did put up a good fight during the second half.

So that’s it! :)

30 Seconds to Mars – Attack

Just a couple of days ago Jason moved to a new URL. He is now known as McSpiky! Goodbye Jaelicious!

Frankly speaking, i love the new name a lot better than the previous one! And it’s not like the name has nothing to do with his personal self, i mean.. his hair is actually SPIKY, right.

I’m not saying he’s not delicious during the Jaelicious times but.. you gotta admit that it’s kinda.. i don’t wanna say it here.

But if you loooved Jaelicious so much (it’s either you’re gay or just too pussy for a change), then i suggest you adding a suffix -licious to your own name and stop bugging Jason for a change and support him instead (like me!).

Just give it a rest! I don’t get why people start tripping when he changed his URL. It’s his fucking blog URL. All you gotta do is just relink him.

And if you paid close attention, he didn’t ask for your opinion about the name McSpiky.

Whaaaaaat.. he didn’t?

.. Ya, seriously, he didn’t.

So yeah. I’m sure people will learn to get used to it. I don’t expect Jason to change his URL again just because someone “can’t get used to McSpiky at all and preferred Jaelicious”.

Where’s the sense in that, right.

ANYWAY!

Little Miss went to Euphoria for the first time last night. Super outdated, right.

And the last time i went to a club was during May. That’s like two months ago. Berkarat already :O

Not sure what is this shot called, but it has pineapple juice inside so it’s sweet.
And i like sweet things :)

Bonus, a picture of his back too.

Good day, everyone! :)

Be warned that this is a girly ladies’ post!

Sometimes buying stuff online is quite risky cause you can’t always believe what you see online.

Especially those Taiwanese fashion pictures selling clothes and bags. Those pictures are tweaked in photoshop already! The lighting makes the item appear nicer but actually in real life they are only 40% of what you see.

This, however, is my point of view. I can’t say anything about those who looove how their Taiwanese items turn out to be.

Anyway, i saw this online and i had a pretty strong feeling that it will look good in real life even if the picture is edited in any way.

A cosmetic pouch!

Cause it’s just too cute to resist!

I ordered it during early July and the item just arrived today! It’s a pre-order, so i’m guessing it’s imported.

So what how does it look like in real life?

It looks a bit crumpled up cause it got flattened on the way here via postage. Would be like in the picture if it has some stuffings inside.

See! Cute, right!

To top it off, i bought some cosmetics from M.A.C today! Just expending my cosmetics collection :)

I’m gonna give you an inside look on my cosmetics collection so far!

Note that i have extras of a particular cosmetic simply because i buy them in a different shade and/or i got them for free when i worked for M.A.C.

Mineralize Satinfinish foundation and Select Moisturecover concealer

Mineralize Skinfinish Natural and Sculpt and Shape powder

Beauty powder blushes

Eyeshadow

Fluidline liner, Powerpoint eye pencil, eyebrow pencil and Plush Lash mascara

Lipsticks and lipglasses

Tendertone lip balm in Honey Bare (colour slightly different in real life)

Throw them all in me new cosmetic pouch!

/>Skincare products and brushes are not included here. So there you go!

For the ladies, if you are planning to get something from M.A.C then i suggest these cause the products i own are recommended by the make up artist.

I can’t really tell you which foundation is good because it’s based on your own preference. As for concealer, Select Moisturecover is good because it’s smoother compared to the other concealers. And as the name says, it was extra moisture!

Mineralize Skinfinish Natural powder is good for finishing your look. Make up artists put loads of powder under the eye area to prevent smudging of the mascara. Select Sheer/Pressed is more suited for oily skin.

I picked Plush Lash out of my own preference. The other mascaras are also good but the popular ones are Fibre Rich Lash and Pro LongLash, i think. They sound very promising.

For liner, Powerpoint pencil is water-proof (tested and proven by me) so it’s suitable for lining the water line (lower lash line). They have lots of other kinds of liners too but it’s all up to what you’re kind looking for.

As for the other products (cheeks, lips and yadda yadda) it’s all up to you! :)

If you’re not sure about which product is suitable for you, you should ask the make up artist for assistance. But you gotta ask the right M.A.C staff for help cause only a few are genuinely friendly (psst, i know which one’s friendly and which one’s not! :P) so, yeap!

Oh yeah, the Heatherette collection is released already but the beauty powder i wanted is no available here in Malaysia. Wtf?

This post is super bimbotic, bleh.

Hennessy Artistry 2008

My connection is super bad today but i still can manage to upload pictures and blog, though in a very slow pace. Hey, at least it’s better than nothing! :)

So on Friday afternoon, i went to the Hennessy Artistry press conference at Kl Hilton with Jason. Invites in courtesy of Nuffnang and much thanks to Yatz for getting them for me :)

As i mentioned in my previous post that my camera wasn’t working during the press conference, i have to shamelessly leech off pictures from Jason’s and Yat’s camera!

One thing i really dislike about leeching pictures from others is that i have to wait for them to send the pictures to me. And sometimes, I CAN’T WAIT!

So i’ll just steal some pictures from Yat’s blog! But i have the rights to steal them anyway because some where taken by me using his camera. He didn’t credit me, hmpf!

*edit*

Got some extra pictures from Yatz :)

So what do we do during a press conference?

I’m quite lazy to explain so you can read up on the press conference in the following blogs:

They have better and more explicit details about the event, hehe!

Okay, moving on!

Since i can’t give you proper pictures from the Hennessy Artistry press conference, i’ll make it up to you by delivering you over 30 pictures from the party itself last night!

.. Okay maybe 30 is not such a large number (50 sounds more wow!) but still.. whatever.

I drove to the Bukit Kiara Indoor Arena. Had a little detour but luckily i had Jason and my sister with me. When we managed to find the place, we had to park quite a distance from the venue. Parked illegally some more :x

Shortay!

Jessie, myself and Josh :O

The inside of the arena was beautifully set up. I like the way they divided the V.I.P areas based on the Hennessy City Cocktails, which are Miami, Paris, Shanghai and last but not least, the latest City Cocktail, Kuala Lumpur.

From the inside

Hennessy Paris

Our place! :)

V.S.O.P – Very Special (or Superior) Old Pale
It’s one of the grades for cognac :)

Hennessy Kuala Lumpur (the one with the orange)
Hennessy Miami (the one with the mint leaves)

Jason the vodka slave!

I tried all the Hennessy City Cocktails last night and i have to say that the one i prefer most is the Hennessy KL. It has some sort of sweet and tropical taste which i like! :)

My verdict on the rest of the City Cocktails:

Paris – My next choice after Kuala Lumpur. Though it’s a little strong cause once i took a sip, i can already feel the heat
Miami - Not my type cause it tastes a little weird with the minty flavour
Shanghai - Funky taste that i’d avoid

I was introduced to a number of bloggers and i also got to meet a lot of other new people. Then i took a walk around the arena with Jason while my sister hung out with her bunch of friends.

We met Sam Jeveons, the creator of Hennessy Kuala Lumpur along the way and we had a short talk with him.

Apparently, he’s an English man living in Taiwan and he made Hennessy Kuala Lumpur through trial and error. A very friendly guy :)

After that, we went back to Miami to mingle around with people. Took pictures and exchanged URLs with some bloggers. Was also entertained by two amazing tricksters.

Stanley the tall man! :O

Do Re Mi style

Bobby, who?

Nicholas

Joshua

Haha, made Yatz smile! :P

The amazing David showing Joshua a trick

He bent a 50 cent coin!

Up next is my turn! I picked a card from the deck, i still can remember it’s a 4 of Hearts

David shuffles the deck

And picks out my card! I know it’s hard to believe, cause you weren’t there! :P
