Hennessy Artistry 2008
My connection is super bad today but i still can manage to upload pictures and blog, though in a very slow pace. Hey, at least it’s better than nothing! :)
So on Friday afternoon, i went to the Hennessy Artistry press conference at Kl Hilton with Jason. Invites in courtesy of Nuffnang and much thanks to Yatz for getting them for me :)
As i mentioned in my previous post that my camera wasn’t working during the press conference, i have to shamelessly leech off pictures from Jason’s and Yat’s camera!
One thing i really dislike about leeching pictures from others is that i have to wait for them to send the pictures to me. And sometimes, I CAN’T WAIT!
So i’ll just steal some pictures from Yat’s blog! But i have the rights to steal them anyway because some where taken by me using his camera. He didn’t credit me, hmpf!
*edit*
Got some extra pictures from Yatz :)
So what do we do during a press conference?
I’m quite lazy to explain so you can read up on the press conference in the following blogs:
They have better and more explicit details about the event, hehe!
Okay, moving on!
Since i can’t give you proper pictures from the Hennessy Artistry press conference, i’ll make it up to you by delivering you over 30 pictures from the party itself last night!
.. Okay maybe 30 is not such a large number (50 sounds more wow!) but still.. whatever.
I drove to the Bukit Kiara Indoor Arena. Had a little detour but luckily i had Jason and my sister with me. When we managed to find the place, we had to park quite a distance from the venue. Parked illegally some more :x
The inside of the arena was beautifully set up. I like the way they divided the V.I.P areas based on the Hennessy City Cocktails, which are Miami, Paris, Shanghai and last but not least, the latest City Cocktail, Kuala Lumpur.

V.S.O.P – Very Special (or Superior) Old Pale
It’s one of the grades for cognac :)
Hennessy Kuala Lumpur (the one with the orange)
Hennessy Miami (the one with the mint leaves)
I tried all the Hennessy City Cocktails last night and i have to say that the one i prefer most is the Hennessy KL. It has some sort of sweet and tropical taste which i like! :)
My verdict on the rest of the City Cocktails:
Paris – My next choice after Kuala Lumpur. Though it’s a little strong cause once i took a sip, i can already feel the heat
Miami - Not my type cause it tastes a little weird with the minty flavour
Shanghai - Funky taste that i’d avoid
I was introduced to a number of bloggers and i also got to meet a lot of other new people. Then i took a walk around the arena with Jason while my sister hung out with her bunch of friends.
We met Sam Jeveons, the creator of Hennessy Kuala Lumpur along the way and we had a short talk with him.
Apparently, he’s an English man living in Taiwan and he made Hennessy Kuala Lumpur through trial and error. A very friendly guy :)

After that, we went back to Miami to mingle around with people. Took pictures and exchanged URLs with some bloggers. Was also entertained by two amazing tricksters.
Stanley the tall man! :O
Bobby, who?

The amazing David showing Joshua a trick
Up next is my turn! I picked a card from the deck, i still can remember it’s a 4 of Hearts
And picks out my card! I know it’s hard to believe, cause you weren’t there! :P
David, Andrew and myself with Andrew’s picked card

That’s all from last night! :)
