Hotel 626

Turn down the lights and turn up the volume, it’ll be over before you know it.

Hotel 626 is by far the scariest place in the web. It’s only accessible from 6 p.m to 6 a.m, hence the number 626. It’s highly recommended to have your webcam and microphone enabled, trust me, it’s a lot more fun that way.

This game got us screaming.

I’m not kidding.

Go ahead and give it a try at Hotel 626.

Day two of Singapore

During our second day at Singapore, my sister took us to Jurong Bird Park.

Like i said before, transportation in Singapore is a breeze. Just take the MRT to Boon Lay station. When you get off the MRT, you’ll be at the Boon Lay bus station. From there, you can take a bus right to Jurong Bird Park.

Easy, right!

Ticket price for an adult is about $ 16.

Took quite a number of pictures but i cannot recall all of the birds’ names. What you see is what you get, k :)

Bird show

Peacock, as we all know..

Flamingo lagoon

Doing it on one leg

Ostrich

The lory loft

Lories and lorikeets flying freely

A happy looking lory :)

Managed to spot a Bird of Paradise!

Outside the World of Darkness. Couldn’t take pictures of any owls, too dark :(

Happy Feet!

Penguins, as you all know..

Penguin airlines at your service :)

Scarlet ibis

A random fat cockerel in the middle of the scarlet ibis aviary

The bird park is a very nice and educational place to visit. I got to see the birds that i’ve read about in books last time, so it’s really nice :)

Danze2Nista

Okay, listen up.

There’s this dance tournament going on hosted by APIIT UCTI college on 1st November 2008.

It’s called Danze2Nista!

I dunno what’s up with dance competitions these days. It’s like a trend that started just like that and i’m like the only sucker who doesn’t know about it.

The last dance competition i heard of was the Dance Arena hosted by Taylor’s College.

For some reason which i cannot remember, i didn’t get to go for that event.

And everyone else did.

Fuck.

And they all ended up having a blast. Bitches.

To top it off, i heard that the dancers were good. Like GOOD. And i didn’t get to see.

But not this time, hopefully.

I’m kinda looking forward to this event. As a matter of fact, i think i’ll go for it! :)

My purpose is to watch the competition, of course. Not join. Haha!

Registrations to join the competition is open from 1st August to 24th October. You can get more info about registering here at their website.

I’m a little last minute but hey, at least i’m still delivering the news!

Grand prize for the reality dance tournament is RM 2000 + sponsors! Sweeeet.. now that’s something worth competing for, heee.

Oh, and it’s free entry for layyyydies (ladies) before 7 p.m!

When i read this i knew that Jason would be like *dammit!*

And according to their site, they will be featuring DJ Nesh of Ministry of Sound, Taipei. Sounds promising, ain’t it.

Looks like i’ll be there! The poster says that over 13 colleges will be participating and i’m curious to find out how good they are!

Don’t fail on me now, hmm..

Day one of Singapore

I guess i’m gonna have to separate my blog post about Singapore into parts. I’ve got too many pictures. I’m afraid i might blow up my blog if i post them all at one shot. Ha!

After being on MC on Wednesday and Thursday, i had to skip my Friday classes too cause my bus to Singapore was 7 in the morning.

I knew i had LOTS of catching up to do when i get back to college. Great, right

Anyways, i took First Coach bus to Singapore. It’s quite good actually. Clean and comfortable. Entertaining movies on the bus, though not a very wide selection of choices. But still.

You plug in your own headphones (or you can purchase one from the office for RM 5) and enjoy your movie/music (they also have music selection, but not to my liking)

I didn’t sleep at all during my trip to Singapore. I was pretty much occupied with the movies they have on the bus.

I watched two comedy movies, King’s Ransom and The 40 Year Old Virgin.

These two are seriously worth watching. I couldn’t stop laughing! Especially when i watched The 40 Year Old Virgin.

Wasn’t sure whether was i disturbing other people sleeping cause i couldn’t really hear myself from the earphones :S

So yeap, watched two movies and listened to the iPod for a while then we were already in Singapore!

We arrived at Singapore about 1 something. Singapore’s public transport is so convenient! Their MRT practically stops everywhere and the bus services are very efficient.

We didn’t have to take the taxi at all! Just took the MRT to Bugis and walked for less than 5 minutes to our hotel.

Had lunch at Bugis. There’s lots of places to eat there, mm!

The amount of rice they give is like mountain, man. And the chicken rice just costs $ 3.50. So cheap, right!

I mean, put converting aside. Talk about earning one to one Singapore dollars. For them it’s very cheap. Compare to the Malaysian price -_-;;

Went to Bugis street after. Love that place, it reminds me of Bangkok a lot! But more expensive.. and hotter.

They’re selling gladiator shoes there for like $10 or $15! Fucking cheap, i tell you. They have TONS of gladiators there. Even when the price is converted to RM, it’s still cheaper than the ones we have here!

Plus, we can only find gladiators selling on online boutiques. I haven’t seen any real life boutiques selling them so far. Or maybe i just haven’t been going out to shop :x

Fast forwarding.

We had steamboat for dinner.

The all-you-can-eat steamboat there is worth eating cause it’s just $18 per person. Once again, not talking bout converting to RM here.

Normally we have steamboat for dinner, right. But here at Singapore, they even have steamboat for lunch.

Yeap.

Table’s not big enough though, hehe.

That’s all from day one of Singapore. Didn’t take much pictures cause i was tired from the bus ride.

Shame on you!

First things first. I’d like to thank my lady friend, Jason, for looking after my blog while i was away. If it wasn’t for him, my Clappity Sundays #2 draft wouldn’t be published :)

Le strawberryvodka made a very discreet trip to Singapore during the weekend which only very few knew about, harhar.

Now i’m back, and in action! :)

Though, very tired.

I came home about a couple of hours ago. Over four hours in the bus is enough to drive me crazy. It’s almost claustrophobic!

Singapore is great but i’m really glad to be home!

Anyways, i’m feeling so lazy now. So lazy that i wished someone could feed me my dinner. AND give me a back massage.

.. Nothing wrong with wishing, right!!

All i want to do now is just surf the internet and load songs into my iPod. Pictures can come later!

I have LOTS of catching up to do! Emails, Facebook, online boutiques, and so on!

And believe it or not, just by being absent for three days, this is what i get when i come back.

Cherlyn linked me with this blog.

This one MUST click to enlarge!

Familiar?

Well duh, cause it’s from ME.

A combination of my old and current blog. Interesting. But we all know that i’m no stranger to this situation, right.

I could’ve seriously embarrass her in the world wide web (i’m sure some of you out there know that i can) but i chose not to.

Anyway, no details or what so ever that could tell who she was in that blog so i looked her up in Technorati. It’s an excellent website to see who links who, but i hardly use it.. until now.

Turns out that her name is Vivien Low.

Well, it sickens me at the fact that she DIRECTLY linked the images from me. And the fact that i’m not acknowledged for this.

It totally grosses me out to see my blog’s tab beside hers in Mozilla Firefox. The Blogger icon is EXACTLY the same!!

I mean, c’mon. It was MY idea, i deserved some credit!

I didn’t mind Jason changing his Blogger icon because he TOLD and ASKED me that he wants to change is icon to green and whether is it okay if he does.

And it’s not like there was no way of reaching me. My email is right on top of my side bar!

EMAIL ME.

Others were able to email me, so why couldn’t she?

And i don’ give a shit about her “young age”. Stealing is still stealing.

I wonder what her original blog layout looks like. Shame shame that her friends didn’t know that she stole some of it from somewhere else :(

Know what, i’m just gonna bookmark her and wait for the day she comes back. I left a little surprise for her at her tagboard too. With love.

Once again, here’s the link.

I’m giving you chance to increase your daily hits momentarily :)

We should ALL stay tuned!

Is there any “blogger’s rights” or something?

I constantly find myself being a victim of plagiarism in this blogosphere.

Cher told me that she once came across this blog that has the same layout as mine, except that it’s blue and it’s credited back to whoever that fucker is.

And to top it off, IT’S CALLED CHOCOLATE VODKA!

Fucking hilarious, i tell you. Too bad she didn’t manage to remember the link cause she was rushing off at the cyber cafe.

Now what about that blogger’s rights i was saying?
