Absolute Bazaar @ 3k Inn Hotel
Last Saturday, i went over to the Absolute Bazaar which was held at the 3k Inn Hotel after i’m done with Shu Uemura at Sunway Pyramid. It was just about 10 minutes drive from there.

The minute i arrived at the spot, my sister took me around the place and introduced me to her friends. Kinda caught by surprised.
After that i took a walk around the place by myself. There were sooo many booths there, i didn’t even know where to begin.
I must say that lovely sister and her friend did a great job in organizing the bazaar. From the online boutiques that they invited to join the bazaar, to the number of the people who came.
They also had a booth inside selling food and drinks, with good music too. Not to mention that A&W was just next door, very convenient :)

Ling and Sam of Peaches and Pixies

Hand made jewelry by Tiny Hands
They have the BEST hand made accessories i’ve seen so far
I bought a pair a mistletoe studs from them for RM 10 :)
The Diary of a Miniature Enthusiast was working hard that day
I love her stuff, bought a necklace from her before :)
Button My Buttons
Love their custom designed hoodies and bags!

Sugar and Spice
They’re really nice! Bought 2 tops and a dress from them :D
That’s not even half of the boutiques there!
My only regret is not having the skills to dig for clothes.
For those who missed out on Absolute Bazaar, don’t worry cause there’ll be another one sometime soon. And we’ll make it better for sure :)
Clappity Sundays #6
It’s a Clappity Sundays special!
Something cute and educational at the same time :)
The two sea otters in the picture are Nyac and Milo. The video of Nyac and Milo holding paws was taken at Vancouver Aquarium. This video has over 11 million views in Youtube.
Nyac (the lighter colour sea otter) is one of the survivors of the Exxon Valdez oil spill in 1989. The oil spill killed thousands of animals. Nyac was lucky to be saved when she was just 6 months old. Unfortunately, she passed away at age 20 years on September 2008.
Sea otters tend to hold paws or wrap themselves with kelp (large seaweed) to keep themselves from drifting out to the sea while eating or resting.
p/s: Watch the video until the end for the surprisingly cute ending.
Mika Holiday by Shu Uemura
I did another demo for Shu Uemura at Sunway Pyramid today.
It’s almost similar to the previous one i did. However, this time the demo is for the Beauty Expo going on at Sunway Pyramid’s new wing.

It was my first time going to Sunway Pyramid’s Shu Uemura. And i saw another Viktor & Rolf for Shu Uemura false eyelashes there. It’s very pretty, so i just had to share it.
I looked it up and this pair is called Wing Couture.
Like what i said before, Shu Uemura is well knowned for their artistic false eyelashes. No doubt.
Anyways, they had a demo to promote Shu Uemura’s new holiday collection. I got to know more about their products because i keep hearing people talking about it.
Reknowned Japanese photographer and film director Mika Ninagawa teamed up with Shu Uemura to form the Mika Holiday Collection.

This is only part of the collection.
The full collection is already available at Shu Uemura outlets. I gotta admit that they do look kinda pretty. The packaging are all very colourful and floral-like.
Same thing, different day again tomorrow :)
White rice fish from China
I got this from an email. Everything is in Chinese, so lucky those who knows how to read it. I got a friend to translate a couple for me :)
It looks a bit like anchovies but the Chinese writing on the packaging says it’s white rice fish.
Here’s an extract from the email:
The fish skin is made from PE (plastic) tube, meat is made of some kind of jelly or gelatine. I boiled them with hot water for sometime and the PE burst, exposing the fish meat. These fish have NO bone and the color would not change after boiling for a long time.
I highly recommend everyone to click on the pictures to view a larger version of them.

Try comparing them with the real picture of the white rice fish which i Googled.
Although they look almost the same- tiny, white, slimy, and has black dots as eyes, you can spot the difference if you look close enough.
The real thing is opaque and white, not transparent like the ones from the email.
Nothing from China is safe.

Peter Pan
The Peter Pan syndrome. Anyone could be a victim of it, depends whether do they realize it or not.
I know someone who has a severe case of Peter Pan syndrome. In fact, i’m related to her. Haha! But who am i to say, i think i have it too. Sometimes :S
Just when i thought that i wouldn’t collect anymore ponies, i bought not one, but two ponies today!
Hmm -_-;;
Couldn’t help it, they’re Christmas 2008 edition!
FYI, they are collectibles! >:(
I don’t take them out from the packaging either. I took my first six ponies out from their packaging and i so regretted that -_-
I would collect figurines and stuff too but it’s quite an expensive hobby if i wanna get the good stuffs.
Stingray migration
Looking like golden autumn leaves floating on a pond, it’s hard to imagine that these are actually stingrays. Sandra Citrelli stumbled across this phenomenon in the Gulf of Mexico.
These are poisonous golden cow-nose stingrays and they migrate twice yearly in groups of up to 10, 000.
The golden cow-nose stingray is armed with a poisonous stinger which can be deadly to humans. It was a similar stinger that killed popular Australian naturalist, Steve Irwin in 2006.

Now imagine if you could push someone that you don’t like into the waters and let him or her get stung to death by those stingrays.
