Happy Chinese New Year!

This post was supposed to be posted on Monday, but i didn’t have my camera to upload the pictures then, so here goes.

Warmest greetings from me to all of you out there, Happy Chinese New Year! :)

Be extra hardworking this year and harvest more red packets, okay. I know i am, haha! Oh, and don’t miss out on all the great food and snacks! Om nom nom!

While all of you are out noming on whatever you can get your hands on, i’m stuck with this nasty ucler on my upper lip.. SINCE LAST WEEK!

I thought it’ll go away, but obviously it didn’t. I bought Bonjela and instead of making it better, it’s making it grow BIGGER!

I think Bonjela hates me. Bloody hell.

It stings the moment i apply it on the ulcer. IT HURTS LIKE CRAZY. Makes me feel like banging my head on the wall.

Until the pain stops, then ok stop. Go sleep.

Some more it’s not working, instead, it’s feeding the ulcer.

It’s about 5 mm in diameters now, which i think is pretty huge for an ulcer. Go measure. I’m sorry that i had to be so detailed, but at least i didn’t include a picture of it (though i was tempted to, haha)

It hurts real bad but it didn’t stop me from eat whatever i want.

However, i’m getting second thoughts now. I can’t even eat properly with this ulcer :(

I’m too scared to gargle salt water. So i’ll probably try some other medication like watermelon seeds powder or something if Bonjela still doesn’t work. Toot.

Oops, i didn’t mean to spread my misery to everyone.

Happy harvesting! :)

Seeing checks

Loving this high waist checkered skirt i got from Oh, Popsicles!

I realized that a couple of blog shops started selling more skirts. High waist, checkered, tulip, pleats, whatever! There are all kinds, but i especially have a liking for high waists, checkers and bows.

Or maybe it’s just because i’m outdated and haven’t been noticing?

There’s no waiting for this cause they get sold out real fast. Here are some blog shops that are selling them pretty skirts. Availability is limited though :O

Luscious Lips
The Envelopes
Miss Lola’s Closet
Iccy House

I’m sure there’s more but hmm..

Left 4 Dead

Guns, check.
Ammo, check.
Zombies, check.

Left 4 Dead is a first-person shooter survival horror video game. It’s thrilling and scary at the same time.

Four players in a game, you can either choose to play in a Campaign mode, Versus mode (Survivors vs. Infected) or Single-player mode.

It gets pretty realistic at times too. Friendly fires can occur and you’ll walk slower when your health is low.

This game is all about cooperation and team play. Do not underestimate this game. The infected come in mass numbers and they can even run in zig-zag motion, making it harder to aim at them.

I started playing this game online around November 2008. Now, more and more people started playing the LAN version of L4D at cyber cafes.

Playing online allows you to interact with other people from the overseas. I’ve played with Singaporeans and Japaneses before.

It’s quite an experience cause everyone has different strategies in surviving the game.

However, to play the online version requires the original installation.

I also enjoy playing the LAN version of L4D with my friends. Having Cai Jin as team mate is very.. entertaining :D

Went for a round of L4D with the bunch last Friday at FTZ Asia Cafe. Planning to do the same again this Friday.

Anyone up for it?

And i go by the name of.. Tofu. Haha.

Remember, always aim at head level, shove away zombies when they get too close and while reloading, and you’re good to go! :)

Oh, and leave the Witch alone if you can.
