While all of you are out noming on whatever you can get your hands on, i’m stuck with this nasty ucler on my upper lip.. SINCE LAST WEEK!
I thought it’ll go away, but obviously it didn’t. I bought Bonjela and instead of making it better, it’s making it grow BIGGER!
I think Bonjela hates me. Bloody hell.
It stings the moment i apply it on the ulcer. IT HURTS LIKE CRAZY. Makes me feel like banging my head on the wall.
Until the pain stops, then ok stop. Go sleep.
Some more it’s not working, instead, it’s feeding the ulcer.
It’s about 5 mm in diameters now, which i think is pretty huge for an ulcer. Go measure. I’m sorry that i had to be so detailed, but at least i didn’t include a picture of it (though i was tempted to, haha)
It hurts real bad but it didn’t stop me from eat whatever i want.
However, i’m getting second thoughts now. I can’t even eat properly with this ulcer :(
I’m too scared to gargle salt water. So i’ll probably try some other medication like watermelon seeds powder or something if Bonjela still doesn’t work. Toot.

instead of bonjela, u can actually use watermelon frost. am not sure wat do u call that in cantonese, but it’s cooling and it heals faster than bonjela.
n it doesnt hurt!

yeah i just got that from a friend today. i also got another cream called Kenalog. gonna try Kenalog today and see how it goes. if all else fails i’ll try melon :)

to me the bonjela works the same as any other medicine… just make sure u clean the saliva around the surface of the ulcer before applying the medicine… it should be ok by a day or 2… and happy chinese new year…
hey there, i’ve used bonjela before and it doesn’t work on me :( I’ve been using the oral aid, can get from any pharmacy shops but i’m not sure if guardian and watson carry this brand. It’s a small bottle with milky translucent liquid in it. It will numb ur ulcer so u won’t feel the pain while eating or talking. :)

i tried another brand, it works better than bonjela. it’s called kenalog, maybe you can try it when you get an ulcer next time :)
