During our Singpore trip early last month, my sister took us to this seafood restaurant at Serangoon for dinner. The place is called House of Seafood, formally known as Joo Chiat Place.
It’s pretty popular and even the local celebrities go there for the crabs. They had pictures and autographs as proof, ahem.
We ordered one black pepper crab, one baked crab, and a couple more small dishes like vegetables and tofu.

We didn’t go for the chilli crab cause apparently it’s not that great. I even heard that it’s over rated.
Anyway, my favourite has got the be the black pepper crab. It was really good. It’s so full of taste till you need a moment to savor it.
And not to mention that the crabs were huuuuuge. I know it’s hard to judge from the pictures, that’s why i took another picture with a scale.

This was based on my sister’s hand. But since all the ladies in the house have pretty much the same hand and shoe size, i can say that it is also equivalent to my hand size.
Whenever i talk about Singapore, i never fail to mention that the crabs at House of Seafood are huge and its claws are like this big! *waves my hand around*
Another comparison, this time it’s compared to my face.

Haha!
I look bloody tired in that picture, by the way. Sigh!
Anyway, two crabs along with a few small dishes were enough for a table of 5 persons. In fact, it was more than enough for us.

I can’t remember how much the bill came up to. If i’m not mistaken, it came up to $200.
And the meal came with a free crabbie phone charm!

Want?

dowan! xD
