Clappity Sundays #35

Panda hug! :)

I guess i should’ve mentioned that my blogging mojo went for a little vacation. Honestly, i haven’t got the mood to write anything proper.
If it wasn’t for that shopping bag i got from Forever 21, this blog would’ve went on without updates for a good whole week! Clappity Sundays is excluded.
Without any updates, my blog visitor statistics would go down. And it’s pretty saddening to see my visitors graph go down (unfaithful readers.. kidding!)
Not.
HAHA!
Okay half half.
Here’s a random picture while i was at Singapore to make things less boring.

?!
Anyway, it’s not like i’ve got nothing to write about. In fact, i still have lots to write about my trip to Singapore. And some other random stuff.
We’ll see.
Twitter for now! :)
p/s: If you have questions regarding something please contact me via email. Please don’t leave your questions via comments, it’s just not cool. And irrelevant and/or unfair to my posts :(

I finally got myself a shopping bag!
I’ve been waiting for this design to hit the Forever 21 stores since last month. I saw it on the website and i thought it’s the cutest shopping bag among the rest. The others are just bleh.

My retail therapy bag. I like the little pink birdie too :)

Two honey flavoured Taiwan sausages and a couple of jellies from the pasar malam. And top it off with Vitagen *hearts*
Supper at 12.30 am because i can, hehe!

I know it’s unhealthy but..
ANYWAY, i’m reading Jason’s blog while having my supper. He took so many awesome pictures over at the States, i’m feeling so envious right now. Freaking hate him.
Mum told me that i better not see him when he comes back.
I think i just might, hmpf!

I sorta crashed this LG Blog party last month.
I wasn’t invited but i went as someone’s guest, however i ended up registering for “me and my guest” at the entrance. Ridiculous. They didn’t even realize that i wasn’t the one who had the invitations.
Oh well.

The dress code was angel white and devil red. Gotta admit that i’ve always liked costume parties, but i was a devil last year for Halloween. So i went as an angel this time instead.
I knew the wings i got from Bangkok would be useful :)
My dress is from the one and only, Dolly Sins.
Anyway from the way i see it, nothing much went on at the party.
Most of the bloggers were dressed up very nicely. It’s nice to see how creative people can get. There was also free flow of juice, beer, and vodka - good good. Other than that, there wasn’t anything that was a particularly interesting.
I self-layaned to cranberry vodka and *cough* helium balloons *cough*
If anyone saw a blogger disguised as an angel messing around with helium balloons, it wasn’t me.
More pictures after the jump.

During our Singpore trip early last month, my sister took us to this seafood restaurant at Serangoon for dinner. The place is called House of Seafood, formally known as Joo Chiat Place.
It’s pretty popular and even the local celebrities go there for the crabs. They had pictures and autographs as proof, ahem.
We ordered one black pepper crab, one baked crab, and a couple more small dishes like vegetables and tofu.

We didn’t go for the chilli crab cause apparently it’s not that great. I even heard that it’s over rated.
Anyway, my favourite has got the be the black pepper crab. It was really good. It’s so full of taste till you need a moment to savor it.
And not to mention that the crabs were huuuuuge. I know it’s hard to judge from the pictures, that’s why i took another picture with a scale.

This was based on my sister’s hand. But since all the ladies in the house have pretty much the same hand and shoe size, i can say that it is also equivalent to my hand size.
Whenever i talk about Singapore, i never fail to mention that the crabs at House of Seafood are huge and its claws are like this big! *waves my hand around*
Another comparison, this time it’s compared to my face.

Haha!
I look bloody tired in that picture, by the way. Sigh!
Anyway, two crabs along with a few small dishes were enough for a table of 5 persons. In fact, it was more than enough for us.

I can’t remember how much the bill came up to. If i’m not mistaken, it came up to $200.
And the meal came with a free crabbie phone charm!

Want?

I’m back!
I was away for the weekend but i don’t think anyone noticed.
So what went on while i was away?

I hope i didn’t miss out much. I was almost completely cut off from the internet. The only internet time i had was five minutes on the iPhone. In that five minutes, i only managed to read three emails before the batteries ran out.
I felt kinda deprived from the internet but at the same time it’s good to go out under the sun for a change. I know some people say i don’t get enough sun. It’s really not my fault that i’m fair to the extent that i look pale like a vampire.
Honestly, i would appreciate being under the sun more if i didn’t have to sweat. Jason’s been saying that it’s sunny over at the States but you don’t sweat there cause it’s not humid, pretty much like being in Genting. Jealous.
Speaking of Jason, he wore a flu mask throughout his flight all the way to the United States. He wore it for about, i quote, “almost 20 hours in total”.
It may sound silly, but when it comes the actual situation, you’ll be having second thoughts.

Haha!
Ahem.
There were people actually coughing like mad on the plane. Paranoid or not? And the plane had some turbulence during the flight. Paranoid or not?
Well, not really. It felt like a one and a half second free fall on Genting’s Space Shot.
So.. does anyone wanna guess where i went during the weekend?
It’s really not that hard to guess.
