Majolica Majorca: Lash Gorgeous Wing

I’ve always been biased for M.A.C. However as time passes, i discovered and explored new products from other brands.

I have to admit that i loved my Plush Lash mascara from M.A.C. It really does lives up to its name by creating more volume for the lashes – plushness. I also love the thick brush made for pumping up lashes. Oh and the matte outer surface of the product, it’s just so nice to feel!

However, the down side to Plush Lash is that it smudges despite the fact its stated that it doesn’t. I don’t know, maybe the way i applied it wasn’t right.

But as time passed, my Plush Lash came to its end. I knew i had to get a replacement.

There was this mascara that i’ve been wanting to try. I’ve spotted it in many make up artists’ bag, even in kimchi, the Korean make up artist’s bag!

There’s a couple of range to choose from, but i picked this.

Majolica Majorca’s Lash Gorgeous Wing. RM 45 from Watsons.

For those who are not familiar with this brand, Majolica Majorca is a sister brand of Shiseido. It is a more affordable line.

The one i got is best in maximizing length and volume among the rest. It contains little fibres that can lengthen lashes. And best of all, it doesn’t smudge like Plush Lash!

I apply this in the morning and it stays put throughout the whole day till night!

Everyone should give this a try. My sister used it and she said it really helped lengthen the lashes!

I love love this mascara. I spend most of my “make up time” on my eyes. Slowly curling my eyelashes evenly and patiently applying my mascara until i get the effect i want.

Hmm the picture doesn’t really show, but i assure you in real life it does.

You can’t rush while doing these, you know. Every step is important, right from the beginning – curling your eyelashes.

I recommend Shu Uemura’s eyelash curler. It is epic! It’s so good that it is even mentioned in the movie Devil Wears Prada.

Don’t believe it?

Wiki it. Or just watch the movie again if you like.

I would consider trying Dejavu’s Fiberwig next time. RM 60 from Sasa, but i’ve seen it selling at other places like Guardian too.

Oh and i have a feeling that i’ll get questions – i’m wearing Freshlook Colourblends in Pure Hazel. Ask again and be ignored. You have been warned.

I wear everything you listed. There are some natural false lashes, those Taiwan made ones. A lot of places sell them but i got mine from the flea market at the curve. RM 38 for a box (10 pairs). You’re so lucky to have long lashes! A curler would do just fine. I have pathetic lower lashes so i don’t bother applying mascara on them. You can apply mascara on the lower lashes by tilting your head downwards while fixing your eyes straight on the mirror, that way your eyes will be “looking upwards”, then apply mascara by holding the wand vertically. You don’t have to use double eyelid sticker if yours is fine.

I use M.A.C’s Satinfinish liquid foundation but i plan to switch to Studiofix.

p/s: I’d appreciate it if you email me next time :)

hey Jamie, this Majolica’s mascara does lengthen our lashes and im wondering which mascara is the best on volume`ing our lashes?? thanks(:

    @ Janice
Yeah it depends on how you use it. You gotta curl them properly. Apply very little pressure on the eyelash curler and curl from the roots to the end, repeat the process until you’re satisfied. Then apply mascara from the roots of the lashes. Do a zigzag motion then up (move the wand left, right, left, right, then straight up). Repeat process until satisfied. Lastly, apply mascara at the end of your lashes, building up the fibres to lengthen your lashes. Repeat until satisfied :)

    @ Esther

    @ Evvon
Plush lash, for sure. But it smudges for me.
