From what it seemed like a five days stay at Singapore, three days were actually spent at..

Bangkok!
Oh the love!
Dad if you’re reading this, please don’t freak out. Oh, and please don’t tell mum. Seriously.
Knowing that my parents wouldn’t fancy the idea of us traveling to the overseas with the whole swine flu thing going on, my sister and i secretly planned a trip to Bangkok without my parents knowing.
Genius much.
They didn’t have a clue. Until now.
Well i can’t hide forever now, can i? -_-
I had a conversation with my dad a couple of days before i left for Singapore that went like this.
Dad: So what are you gonna do at Singapore while jiejie is at work?
Me: Uhm.. watch TV? *shifty eyes*
Pass. Haha!
And so the adventure begins..
I took a bus down to Singapore to meet up with my sister on a Wednesday. Snoozed all the way, mm.
It was already night fall by the time i arrived Singapore. Just in time for dinner. So i had my dinner at my sister’s humble condo, while watching Michael Jackson’s tribute on telly.
We flew off to Bangkok on the following morning at 6 a.m. and arrived about 10 a.m (their time)
We were greeted with this massive queue for passport check at the airport.

Why is there so many people goin to Bangkok during this time of the year, huh?!
Anyway, the first thing we did after catching a cab from the airport was head to our hotel and checked in. Settled down for a bit then we headed to Platinum to start shopping!
I wore flip flops for long hours of walking.

And i think i need to get a new one already.
But i’ll admit that i’m not a shopping android. We took a break for lunch at the food court.
Beef noodles!

A bowl of sugar, chilli flakes, and two other stuff that i’m not familiar with.
So what do i do?
“When in Rome, do as the Roman do”
I observed what the locals did, and i followed. A teaspoon of sugar, a dash of chilli flakes, and another teaspoon of whatever that is in that last bowl. Must be some sour stuff.

Jizz!
And then shop some more until the sun goes down! RAWR!
No time for pictures, more serious shopping.
So what’s for dinner?

platinum food court! was there for 3 days straight last week! haha. the bloody guard stopped me from taking pictures -______________________-”
the noodle looks delicious…. i wish i could visit bangkok just one time… and i wouldn’t be as brave as you, venturing to bangkok while my parents doesn’t know a thing, if only i have the guts
hahaha that’s what i did too! i observed what the locals do with the food there first, then i followed. god. their dried chili flakes almost killed me! :(
@ Debra
Stealth mode on. Haha
@ cindy
You should. I’m missing the food there already
@ vvens
I knowww!! Cannot mess with the chilli flakes! Almost every dish there is spicy -_-
aiks..my parents would have strangle me to death if I go overseas without them knowing..lol..but it just won’t happen, my parents are over controlling my life..wherever I go, they’ll ask alot of questions with all the where, when, who, how, why.. and I don’t think they’ll let me board the flight alone..awww..they are always paranoid.. lucky you :)
