The rabbit hole

dsc04695

I sorta spring cleaned my room a couple of days ago, mainly my dressing table cause it was in a huge mess. It’s amazing how much junk this little drawer can put away.

I have a couple of unused and new cosmetics that i either got for free or super discount. Might consider giving them away hmm..

Take a peek into the drawers by hitting the jump. There’s nothing new though cause i haven’t been buying anything.

The Body Shop: Aloe Lip Treatment

I’m just gonna do a quick write up while getting my notes printed from the Curtin blackboard. Today i can officially chuck my Kiehl’s lip balm aside. It didn’t last the way i thought it would.

The lip balm was supposed to be gel-like. However after a couple of weeks, it kinda melted and turned gooey. I’m clueless bout how it turned out this way cause i’m very sure that i didn’t leave it lying under direct heat, or leave in my car on a hot afternoon, or whatever.

Anyway i know it’s my fault some way or another. I tried putting it in the fridge to cool it down (don’t judge me) but it didn’t work either. The lip balm was still gooey and oily, it was just gross.

But somehow i managed to squeeze out every last bit of it cause i didn’t want to waste it. Fortunately, some of it was still gel-like inside. I just had to wipe away the gooey ones with a tissue. Meh.

So today, i finally got a new one from Body Shop. I decided to give this one a try, since the cocoa butter one smelled funny and i’m lazy to use the Born Lippy one.

It’s aloe lip treatment for sensitive skin. RM 32. Soothing, repairing, and protecting balm for easily irritated lips. I was hesitant to get another tube lip balm at first, but i noticed something different about this one when i observed the tester.

The tip of the tube is slanted, like the shape of a lip stick. This means that i can easily apply this on my lips without having to use my finger! SOLD!

It’s alright so far. It has some kind of sweet scent, which i’m guessing it’s aloe. Though i’m not too sure what real aloe smells like. And it has that glossy finish, which i grew to like.

Let’s see how this one goes.. in the long run.

Friday Afternoon

img_0007

Trust me when i say a day with Sue is never boring. It’s always full of entertaining crap and thrilling when it comes to driving home in separate cars. MOVE, BITCH!

We went to Jojo’s for lunch and played Tap Tap Revenge after to wait for the rain to stop. The weather is really going through some ups and downs these days. Ugh

Sugar. Baby. I’ll call it whatever that sounds nice and sweet. It feels so surreal now that it’s finally in my hands. Keeping it neat, just like how a Mac is suppose to be. My new wallpaper is asking for your butt :p

Coldplay: Parachutes

coldplay-parachutes

My current favourite album. I listen to it in the morning, when my mind is still soft. I listen to it in the evening, when it’s cold and rainy on the way home. I listen to it at night, when everyone is asleep and i’m up doing my assignment. The album has some pretty soothing tracks, nothing too noisy. I’m loving every single one of it :)
