Eh i didn’t know we were going for the Bloody Beetroots. Oh well, i’m not complaining. Rather excited actually. As mentioned in the previous post - note to self, don’t be a whore and wear flats for tonight. Mm hmm!
Oh and i’m digging the masks.
Have a blast, guys :)

Live life to the fullest. I’m always reminded to do so. I don’t know why, but there and then i will hear these words coming from a couple of my friends. Maybe cause sometimes i choose to stay home on a Friday or a Saturday night. I know right.. bleh.
Come to think of it, they make me sound like such a sour puss!
But then when i’m out, i’ll always try to have a good great time.
I kinda stopped taking pictures whenever i go out because i find it a hassle. And maybe it’s not my thing anymore. Sometimes i’ll have the mood for some picture taking, but not very often. Even when i do, it’s a quick one. Snap snap then okayyy drinking time!
Anyway, i figured it’s time i released the “unseen” pictures. Call me a blackhole cause most of the pictures i take won’t get released hehe. It’s nothing much but hey, it’s still something.
OMFG!
Barsonic, 3rd October
Omg i looove Saturdays at Barsonic! Erm well, most of the Saturdays cause i’m picky bout my DJs, ha! Go figure :p
Sometimes i’ll feel like jumping to the beat (and sometimes i will) but i’ll try to refrain myself cause i’m a lady. And i’ll be in heels, bleh. Note to self, don’t be such a whore and wear some flats next time.

Didjital and Blink

Annie and Ayu
It’s amazing how i randomly met these two girls too. I bump into Annie more often around Zouk. We really need more nice and friendly people around. Like genuinely nice and friendly people.

Halloween
31st October
It was an effing packed night at Zouk. The line was so crazy until it was such a turn off. I was rubbing shoulders with random people at Barsonic because it was so packed. Personal space became more comfortable at Velvet, ahh..

Hi, Ben!

Sapina the witch

Knicked this off Facebook :o
Heineken Green Room
Zouk, 19th December
Heineken is love! Went up to Barsonic after but my camera died on me by then. Oh and things got interesting so i wouldn’t be taking pictures if i had batteries anyway :p
Note to self, go easy on the Mariah Carey when in Baby’s car.

Barsonic, 26th December
I was around Zouk at the start of the night. I found myself at Barsonic at the end of the night cause it’s home whenever my favourite DJ is playing. And i’m seriousss..
Jingi brought stick-on moustaches and they’re really funny. Mario much! Ding!

Quick one.
I hate to admit it but Jason was kinda right about us going for wine. Yeah sure at first we might seem classy and all, clinking our wine glasses going all cheeerrrsss~~
Followed by a BOTTOMS UP, BITCHES! RAWR!!
Okay that was only half true, haha! We figured that this time we should take it slow with our drinks. Savour the taste, mmm..
It was a Monday night and it was ages since we last drank together. So we decided to go for a change and head to Vintry at Jaya 33 for some wine.
Plus point cause Vintry had some promotion for their wines.
Surprisingly took some pictures this time. I felt like experimenting with the slow shutter. Photography is certainly not Yee Hui’s thing cause he made the lights in our picture look like pubic hair, seriously. Don’t mind me, haha!

We had three bottles and the bill came up to about RM 300. Three bottles, that’s one each. It was sweet but the day after was pretty messed up.I had this nasty headache that made me wanna blow my brains out.
No more wine OD next time..

So continuing after where i left off from my previous post, here’s the remaining half of the Christmas pot luck!
Kel Li and Nigel came up with such fun games, really. It’s such a waste that i couldn’t stay for the last one cause i had to go to Zouk (explains the overdressing at the party).
Anyway, charades was narrowed down to one category - movies. Kel Li’s favourite!

Our teams were reshuffled and my new team mates were Sheon, Andrew and David. This time Kel Li and Nigel were the game masters.
Even charades need strategy, okay! PEP TALK!

Team Awesome ver. 2!

Team Possum ver. 2 :p
And so let the games begin!
All of us who went out to act damn muka focus. Rule of the game is that we’re not allowed to use any props, and the actor musn’t say ANYTHING. Not even a gasp or an ehn. Once you do, it’s a foul!
My team mates were awesome! Naming my team Team Awesome really gave it a boost, haha! Oh props to the possums too, they were as good.
It was a tough one, really. Our scores were racing! Things were a lot interesting with Sheon’s trash talking and Yatz’s victory hip thrusting around.

Andrew’s bingo face. BINGO!

Victory hip thrust. Oh behave!
My favourite movie to act out was Kung Fu Panda for personal reasons, hahaha! Oh and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.. i dunno, the movie just sounds nice i guess.
Before i left, we all exchanged gifts.
I was Sheon’s secret santa. I got him this electronic bubble wrap key chain. It gets addictive, trust me! Plus it’s cool and quirky, ha!

And Yatz was my secret santa.
He got me a..

BUNNY! :3
It’s bloody cute cause it’s pink, and squishy, and a bunny!
Last but not least, a must have group picture. No need to photoshop me in this time :)
Spot the iPhone whore, HAHA!

Damn i so gotta get over it..
Pictures by the one and only, Nigel.

December 27th, 2009

I know for sure that Christmas is a huge deal to Kel Li. It’s kinda obvious. Well for starters, her house has Christmas spirit written all over it since November.
Other than that, she’s really anal about people typing XMAS instead of CHRISTMAS cause CHRISTmas is all about celebrating the birth of CHRIST. I’m serious, watch her go cranky here. HEHE!
So she planned this Christmas pot luck party for us since a month ago and i can say that all her efforts were worth it because it was such a blast.

This pot luck party even made it’s date on my iPhone calendar cause it’s one party i cannot miss. And it’s also one party i will get stabbed for if i forgot bout it.
As usual, the only thing i know how to make for a pot luck is mashed potatoes thanks to the queen. The rest didn’t seem to mind so mashed potatoes it was! :)

My evening didn’t really have a good start. I had a little crisis at home that made me very, VERY angry. Not only that, i was running late for Kel Li’s. I ended up having to do my make up at her place which thankfully, she didn’t mind.
So the dresscode was red AND white. I remember showing up at Kel Li’s front door and she went
Kel Li: WHERE’S YOUR REDDDD?!
Me: Nehhhh here *points at red hairband*
Cheap shot at red, hehe! I don’t own any reds :x
Oh i even wore my reindeer horn hair pins that i got from Bangkok. Cuuute..

Apparently, i wasn’t as late as i thought i would be. The rest of the gang arrived a while after.
We had all kinds of food - tom yum mee hoon (yum!), Kenneth’s liku liku fried rice, roast chicken, salted chicken, Ikea’s famous currypuff and of course, my mashed potatoes.
After eating, we decided to start with our first round of games! Of course every party must have games!

Me, my MAC eyeshadow pallete, Nigel, and Kenneth

iPhone whores!

Kel Li, David, Andrew, Kenneth, me, and Jen
Our first game was called Trivia. We were divided into two teams. The aim of the game was to write down as many answers as you can in a given time on a piece of paper.
In round one, we had to remember as many celebrity faces that appear on the TV screen as we can. Then write our answers down after the clip is over. In round two, we were given a audio clip with a really messed up mix of different songs. It was all about good memory, i tell you. Stressed!
I declared my team as TEAM AWESOME. And the opposing team as TEAM POSSUM. NYAHAHAHA!

Trivia time!

WE WON FIRST ROUND! Spot the sour possum :p

Team Possum! Andrew, Kenneth, Jen, and Sheon :p
I figured i’ll split this post into two cause the next game is one hell of a fun one. We reshuffled our teams and i was the representative for my team. TEAM AWESOME VER. 2! Gahahaha!
Going head to head in one, two, JUS! (rock, paper, scissors BIRD) with Jen.

Doing the “bird” in lady style, hehe!
Graceful much! Watch us go Charades!
And ohhh i almost forgot, pictures are from Nigel and Joshua. Love love!

It’s been ages since i last went to Maison to party. Attending the Nuffnang Music Bash at Maison earlier this year doesn’t count. I’m actually quite surprised that it’s still alive and happening over there. Hmm..
So anyway, Maison with some old friends last Thursday. It’s been a while and it’s great to take a trip back to the old times. To me, the night seemed to be more of drinking than dancing. In fact, no dancing at all.
I got to see my friends get drunk and crazy, crunk for short. It was a really funny sight, seeing them do things under influenced. And the best part is.. i didn’t have to babysit anyone!

Drunkard on the right
Free as a bird A free bunny, hopping from table to table and catching up with some more friends. My camera’s battery decided to bail on me that night, so i had to resort to stealing a lot of pictures from Michelle’s Facebook.
Hit the jump to see some (old) familiar faces. And i’m sorry Jason, i already told you that there’s not gonna be an apple for you this time.

Scott, Justin, and Chi-wynn

Michelle, me, Sue and awkward Justin

Mmm… the queen

Do Re Mi Fa So (Mei Keit)

And finishing off with..

I just had to.. LOL

That’s me right there. I wouldn’t have known that the ad was out if it wasn’t for Kel Li. Grab a copy of Cleo’s December issue and try to spot me in one of the pages if you wanna see how the rest of the picture looks like. This is the outcome of the shoot i did couple months back for Kleenex :)

I’m finally home after a long weekend away from home. I took a trip to Singapore, where the streets and air are clean and hot cars are plentiful!
It’s great to actually do something with my holidays, like travel to some where. Although i was pretty much cut off from the internet and human communication, i felt great. I had all the time in the world to myself.

I got to walk and shop at Orchard Road, watch some DVDs, catch some nice sleep and whatnot.
I really wish that they would open a MUJI store here. It’s a Japanese store that sells all kinds of stuff - clothes, cosmetics, food, stationery, household items, you catch my drift. Their designs are awesome cause they are so minimal.
And ohhh..

I got to go to my first ZoukOut!
Flipflops and sand between my toes, mmm.. More on that laterrr..
