Ha, told you i’ll make time to blog!

I woke up this morning at 11.30 am and coincidently, the door bell rang and my dogs started barking. Perfect timing. The postman is here; my package has finally arrived :D

Had brunch while i sorted my emails downstairs, and my second package of the day arrived. Today must be a good day! Besides Twitter going all crazy.

First up – the brown package.

I bought a couple of cosmetics online last week and i finally got my hands on them. I was totally convinced to try buying some cosmetics online when i met up with the bunch couple of weeks ago.

Jen is always buying stuff online and when i saw the parcel of goods that she received i was like GASP!! There’s a whole lot of affordable yet quality cosmetics that’s only available online as we don’t have it around here. At that moment i thought, that’s it. I’m gonna start foruming again.

Apparently this American brand called NYX (pronounced as nix) is damn value. NYX has a wide variety of colours with a good price. Lots of good reviews about their blushers, lipsticks, and so on.

RM 58 for two blushers and a lipstick; equals to one MAC blusher already.

Well, the NYX powder blush is smaller than i thought. But i’m not complaining. It’s quite cute and rather convenient too. More space for my cosmetics bag when i travel!

The packaging is shinier than MAC, making my MAC blusher look duller next to the NYX poweder blush :o

It’s bloody hard to capture the exact colour of the products on my camera, but i tried my best.

NYX powder blush: Angel and Peach

NYX round lipstick: Paris

The actual colour for Angel doesn’t look as pink as in the picture, it looks slightly duller and more natural looking. And as for Peach, it’s suppose to look.. well, peachier. Like more orangy. Oh and Angel also has shimmer while it seems to me like Peach doesn’t.

As for the lipstick, i can say that this picture looks very much like the actual product. Just that Paris in real life looks just a little bit lighter.

Grr i wanna put on my new make up! Exam period, won’t be dolling up any time soon i suppose.
