OPI Nail Lacquer: Elephantastic Pink
Here’s a swatch of the O.P.I nail lacquer in Elephantastic Pink. It’s from the India collection. My first bold-coloured pink :)
Please note that this is only one application. I didn’t want to apply a second coat cause i’m lazy and i didn’t want the colour to be too solid. Perfect!

Seriously?: Tekken the Movie
I was quite excited when i found out that the video game Tekken is going to be made into a movie. I looove Tekken.
It’s one of my favourite games during my Playstation days (and still is) along side Final Fantasy. Though i seldom touch the console nowadays, i still fancy a round of Tekken once in a while. It’s my favourite fighting game.
I love the characters in Tekken. For some reasons, i always stick to using female characters. Maybe it’s the lady in me. I use Nina a lot cause she’s a badass bitch. But sometimes i would also try using other characters like Law or Panda.
Some of their newer characters kick ass too. Especially the chicks!

So imagine how excited i was to find out that one of my favourite games is gonna be made into a movie. I wondered how the characters are gonna be like.
But unfortunately for me, when more details and pictures of the movie were released, my excitement turned into disappointment.
In my opinion, the main highlight of movies that are based on video games are their characters. Casting is extremely important for these kind of movies. Also, the cast should have strong resemblance to the game characters from face structure to down right make up!
You get what i mean?
It was such a downer to find out that some of the characters in the Tekken movie don’t even have the basic look of the original characters in the game.

Am i the only one who noticed it?
Jin is supposed to be ASIAN. And handsome! Not to mention, spiky hair! Apparently this actor is Asian, but he don’t look a thing like a Jin. Plus this Jin in the movie has flat boy-band hair.
You know who would look like a Jin?
Daniel Wu or Edison Chen. They got that face shape but not the body type, i guess. Oh well..
And don’t get me started on Christie. She’s suppose to be Brazilian and TANNED. They should’ve sent this actress for a tanned before filming this movie. I guess the only part they got right is her costume, boobs, and muscular abs.
And from the trailer, Jin and Christie seems to be sending off sparks! Since when they have love connections?! *crushed*
And as for my favourite characters?
Nina and Anna Williams
Meh.
I just hope that their personalities and fighting moves remain the same in the movie.
Here’s the trailer for Tekken the movie. I refuse to pay to watch this in the cinema. A DVD will do, i guess.
Flower Warfare
This is the way it should be when ladies get involved in a gun fight. Instead of bullets flying around, we get flower petals and stuff like that. Flower power!
Oh and you should check out the behind the scenes video. It would be cool to know how they come up with such interesting video.
Some how today isn’t really my day. I went solo to run some errands today and they weren’t so smooth. And some how even the smallest thing contributes to my grumpiness; like this stupid air freshener -_-;;
New car scent, it seems. My ass!
Not only it requires a weird way of using it, but it also smells nothing like a new car scent. I was looking forward to use this air freshener so much when i got it weeks ago. How disappointing.
One thing good is that the smell is very strong. The down side is that i hated the smell and it was so overpowering until i got a headache for inhaling too much of it.
Imagine the smell if i removed it completely from the plastic. I could’ve died.
However i’m all about giving the benefit of the doubt, so i’m gonna leave it in my car until the next time i drive it.
I have the leather scented one and i sure hope it will actually smell like leather instead of some cheap ass scent i can’t describe.
Okay so after going through a couple of bumps while running my errands, i decided to go for a little retail therapy. Who would’ve that i would also encounter some bumps while trying to relax. Grumpy much!
But anyways i ended up buying necessities and a couple of things i felt like buying from Sasa and Watsons. Nothing i would go beaming and melting over at. Most boring (but i suppose useful) harvest ever.
Here are some of the stuff that’s worth sharing.
One of two loots from Sasa. I’ll be looking forward to using this with my lipsticks and lipglosses. If it turns out well, i’ll probably use it to do on-lip swatches on some lipsticks and lipglosses :)
And as for the other product from Sasa, it’s Dejavu’s Lash Knockout mascara. Love it so i’m restocking it. I tried to do a review on it but i gave up cause i couldn’t capture the results of the mascara properly. Nonetheless, i would recommend this mascara.
Liese’s Hair Cocktail Moisturizing Hair Serum from Watsons. Bought this for the sake of buying. Oh and trying *cough*
I was actually look for Essential but they didn’t have it. Initially i asked my sister to buy me some Essential products from Singapore before coming home last weekend, but she Essential is available in KL. I have no idea where to find it. Does anyone know?
If we don’t have it here, then obviously we have to get it from Singapore *hint*
However, i’m very sure that we can only get it from Singapore cause i checked the site. Ahjie if you’re reading this you know what to do. I want stuff from the orange range.
These are also for trying.

iFeel Photoshoot: Lips
Ah another photoshoot; stuff that you people like to see ;)
Last week i had a shoot with iFeel again. The last shoot we did was about eyelashes; this time, it was about lips.
I wasn’t really feeling it when Jet told me that the shoot is focused on lips cause frankly speaking, i don’t think i have the right lips for the job. Sadly i’m not blessed with nice shapely full lips.. i want! :(
But oh well, got job just snag it la right!
I had a late night’s sleep the day before the shoot so i had terrible eyeSACKS. But i guess it’s nothing photoshop can’t fix! *heehee*
When i arrived at the studio, i spotted something so beautiful and holy i just wanna grab it and rub it on my face.
It was the M.A.C lookbook for fall/winter 2010.
I knew i needed to get my hands on it. So i sat down with this book in my hand while i got hair and make up done. It was such an honour to view this book. It’s released exclusively for media only.
And lucky you cause i’m sharing some of it! :)
It’s really hard to focus and read the writings in the book when there’s so many stimulating visuals in it.
But the trends are more or less about velvet red lips, shadows and shadings that you can’t see where it ends, and colours that resembles minks that are worn during fall/winter. There are also several looks with stained red lips for a more neutral look.
The book is definitely every makeup lover’s want because it not only describes the concept behind the looks, but also the products and techniques used.
Here are some of my favourite looks.
This look is one of my favourites because it involves the lipstick colour that i’m planning to get. The lip colour is a combination of M.A.C’s Myth and Siss.
Myth is like one of the holy lip colours of M.A.C. The colour is beautiful; it’s described as a pale muted peachy-beige colour. And as for Siss, i haven’t heard of it before but it’s described as a muted golden beige colour.
I’m definitely adding Myth into my lipstick list and i’m planning to get it via M.A.C’s return program :)
This look is from the mink concept.
The model just looks so pretty in the browns. I have a liking for this picture, it’s like one of those pictures that makes you wanna stare at with dreamy eyes.

There’s also a glossy finish to the eyeshadow. I guess it’s also part of the trend.
You can see where the eyeshadow starts for this look, but not where it ends. Now this is what i call power blending!
I also have a liking for smokey purples. I’ve been wanting to try it out but i haven’t found the right colour yet.

Last look; pink lips
I didn’t gain much from this shoot besides having the chance to take a look at the M.A.C lookbook. I had a lipstick phase and i think it’s passing already. I’m more of a nude/pink person, and the shoot was more towards bold colours.
Hope the pictures turn out nice!
