So here comes my NYX lipsticks!

I’m so horrible cause it took me so long to share my NYX products with you guys! I’m quite upset to say that out of the many pictures i took, i’m only using two. Epic fail, i say.

I actually took quite a number of pictures of my NYX lipsticks and even did an on-lip swatch of them, but my camera couldn’t capture the colours right. The pictures didn’t show the true colour of the lipsticks.

So i can only provide a swatch on my arm. The colours that i swatched is pretty much accurate. I dare not say it’s super accurate though.

Harmonica and Strawberry Milk looks pretty much like in the picture. Paris however, somehow looks a bit dustier in real life. It’s not as intense as the picture below.

After receiving and trying out all three of these, i realized that i’m not much of a lipstick person. I can’t say much about them because i haven’t been wearing them out.

For one, the only time i smack on lip colour is during the night when i’m at the club or something. And my choice would most probably be lipgloss because i like how it shines when it catches light in the dark. I definitely prefer lipgloss to lipstick when it comes to outings at night.

And secondly, i eat and drink too much to be reapplying. At least lipgloss sort of reminds me to not to lick my lips too much cause it’s sticky.

In other words, it was an impulse buy.

However i don’t regret buying them because the colours are pretty and they’re super cheap. I love the colours (except Paris, looks a bit purply on my lips) and i will make an effort to wear these babies out.

Hmm.. i figured i shouldn’t let my efforts go to waste completely so here’s a couple of pictures from the day i was swatching the lipsticks :)
