So last week i mentioned that i was going to see the The Album Leaf live in KL.

Honestly, i don’t know much about The Album Leaf so i’m not gonna be all pretentious and act like a big fan. I don’t even have one of their albums in my iTunes, but i’ve yet to steal all of them from the bf.

Though i don’t know much about their music, i was willing to go check them out cause i’ve heard some of their music before in his car and i kinda like it.

Their kind of music is not the kind you would bang your head and jump around to. It’s really different. Soothing, i would say. Very relaxing. So relaxing that i’ll feel weird calling it a concert -_-;;

Well the performance was held at the Bentley Music Auditorium, Mutiara Damansara on a Wednesday night. I only saw a couple of familiar faces there, and they were all his friends.

I suppose it’s cause very few youngins would layan this kind of music. Not surprised. But still i would say that the crowd was quite good.

Everyone sat down on the ground like we were having some huge picnic cause the auditorium floors were covered with carpets. It was quite cosy actually. I didn’t mind sitting down knowing that the kind of music that The Album Leaf plays is gonna be.. well.. the kind that make you wanna lie down.

The performance was suppose to start around 8, but we waited till about 9.30pm if i’m not mistaken. But i suppose it was worth the wait. Who would’ve thought i would get to experience this kind of music live!

When The Album Leaf appeared, everyone stood right up and went closer to the stage. I went like awww :( cause i just thought of sitting down to enjoy the music. Not that i mind standing either..

The performance was enjoyable. The lights display were very hypnotizing, i was very attracted to them. I was like Insectosaurus in Monsters vs. Aliens *eyes brow big* It’s showing on Astro now btw, go watch.

And the music.. surreal! It was truly a good experience, i’m glad that i got the chance to see them.
