Christmas in Singapore
Omg i totally lost track of time until i didn’t realize that it’s gonna be a completely new year in just two more days! It’s so frightening and exciting at the same time!
I’ve been having a really good time lately, except for that short period when my wisdom tooth was causing me pains. In fact, i’ve decided to make a rather efficient update because i’m in quite a good mood now. Rarity!
So last Friday, we flew down to Singapore in the afternoon for Christmas Eve. It’s only a matter of time that we become real regulars in Singapore because we fly down quite often.
This trip was a little different because we usually go down for a night in Singapore whenever the boys have a gig. This time, we decided to stay in Singapore for two nights. More time for us to relax and explore.
Flying during a holiday season is quite a pain. We were surrounded by noisy and some annoying kids in the plane. Some so annoying that can make you hate kids forever -_-

My face was still quite swollen, but nonetheless better than the day before. I guess it doesn’t really show in the picture. It kinda looks like i grew chubbier. But still.. i felt ugry.
Unfortunately, i was on medication. The dentist gave me two types of antibiotics to cure the infection, and i had to take two of each for about three times a day.
It sucks to be taking medicine when you know there’s gonna be partying that weekend.
And drinks.
:(
Anyway, our flight was delayed quite a bit due to heavy traffic. So insane. We didn’t really have a proper lunch either. By the time we arrived in Singapore, it was around 4pm.

Christmas cans in Rendezvous Hotel
We napped, ate our dinner and dolled up together and off we went to the newly opened Soul Club, where supastardj Hoong will be playing at.

Mevina, Sasha, Ahjie and Albert
My sister didn’t allow Albert to drink because the rules are really strict in Singapore, like no drink and drive. Cops here are REAL cops. Strict, efficient, and ready to serve.
Try to offer time one tiny bribe and you’ll go straight to jail. Unlike our fat ones here..

Willingly did the duckface plus hairstache combo. Obviously, i was trying to find every way to hide the swollen side of my face.

Tracy and Dinson
To be honest, i don’t really feel much for Christmas. It’s unfortunate that i don’t know how to enjoy Christmas. I didn’t grow up with Christmas. Plus, it doesn’t snow here. Snow and winter clothing always bring a stronger Christmas feeling.
Without it, it’s just meh.
The next day, we took the train from Dhoby Gaut to Sommerset for lunch and some shopping. From Sommerset we walked along Orchard to Ion Mall.

His tshirt: Fuck your requests.

Hurhur taking the MRT. We’re really getting the hang of traveling by train already. We so loh-cal..
By the wayyy.. the streets on Christmas day itself was CRAZY!
It was like a dark ocean that consists of black balls bopping around, because there were that many people on the streets! Fortunately it wasn’t as jam packed as Zoukout, where you have no choice of direction and just go where ever the “current” takes you.
Forget about asking someone to take a picture for you cause everyone will be walking past and getting in the way. Just do it.. yourself.

Tiffany tree behind :)
Later that night the locals took us out for some fun. We went to the much talked about Helipad. It’s a really small place with not-very-nice-but-bearable sound system, but one thing that i like bout it is that the kitchen opens until 2.30 am :D
I had my late dinner over there. The food is not bad. Simple stuff like pizza and fish and chips.
And now.. reindeer party!

Helipad’s Sarong Fly. It’s like lime juice with power alcohol

I like the fuzzy antlers better, they’re so cute

Seeing Min makes me wanna try a red lip :o

Antler greetings from Janevin and me! *rub rub*

LOL! The party animal pose. There can be so many captions to this pic

After Helipad we went to some place else called NaNa. It’s like a Thai club and it opens until 6am! These Singaporeans are crazy with their after parties!
It was already past 3am, but we decided to go check it out anyway. Don’t be such a pooper, right.
I think we were there until 5. I was tired already so no pictures.
The next day, Ahjie took us for lunch at Capital Mall before we headed to the airport. I realized that we were so focused on shopping at Orchard, we forgot bout other malls. I saw some nice things at Capital but didn’t have the time to shop.
Anyways, this trip to Singapore was probably the best one. I had good fun and i really enjoyed myself. Now i can’t wait to save up some money and go back to Sinagpore during the sales to shop!
Pus, Gums and Whatnots
I was completely unable to function yesterday. I woke up with a massive ache on my left jaw due to my stupid wisdom tooth. I thought it would be one of those minor aches that would go away, which i had before, but i was wrong.
The pain lasted the whole day until my face started to swell. I had troubles sleeping last night, it was so horrible. The swelling got worst in the morning.
I desperately went to the dentist today and it turns out that i caught an infection, which caused the swelling. And because of that i couldn’t extract my wisdom tooth. I had bloody pus in my gums!
PUS! GUMS! So grosssss.. T^T
The doctor got rid of the pus and gave me heaps of pills. The left side of my face is still swollen as fuck and i don’t know how long it’s gonna take to go down.
AND i’m flying to Singapore tomorrow for the weekend. It’s like a combo; gums hurt like crazy, face swollen like a hamster stuffed with food, and thoughts of looking ugly.
Very very moodless.
BUT! When i came back from the dentist, i found a box waiting for me and it had vat19 written all over it. And i thought, it must be..

*sniff sniff* Helluuuu :3
It’s a surprise Christmas gift from Hoong!
It brought such happiness! Such softness.. mmm. Though my gums still hurt and my cheeks are still terribly swollen, i’m glad i have this cute and cuddly thing to accompany me.
15.09.10: BAXX
Another night of hardstyle dated back in September. It was at Maison again with the usual suspects, so i don’t think this needs much introduction and explanation.

NikuJia and Charmander

XT-Acid, Didjital, and Ganjaguru

Blink with the ball
In case you’re wondering, Hoong’s nickname is ball. Everyone calls him ball and there’s a way of saying it too. It goes like boooll.. or bohl. Gah i dunno it’s quite hard to explain it here.
I remember asking Ben why ball, and he said it’s because Hoong’s head looks like a ball. Simple as that -_-;;

Fun times :)
Review: Cyber Colors All-In-1 Moisturizing Cleansing Water

A couple of weeks ago, i made a short trip to SaSa and came back with this product – Cyber Colors All-In-1 Moisturizing Cleansing Water.
It was quite a spontaneous buy. The salesgirl recommended this product to me as i was paying for my stuff at the counter and i thought, why not since i needed a face makeup remover. My Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil ran out and i needed a replacement before i go on my holiday trip.
The Cyber Colours All-In-1 Moisturizing Cleansing Water only removes face makeup like foundation and etc. The salesgirl said that i had to use a separate product to remove eye makeup.
I didn’t mind because i’m using L’Oreal’s eye and lip makeup remover anyways.

The packaging is simple and it makes it look a little cheap. However, that doesn’t bother me much.
The product itself is not quite bad, actually. It’s water based, and it contains chamomile extract and hyaluronic acid.
However since the product is pretty much like water, i tend to put too much of it on my cotton pad and cause some wastage.
So the real question now is, does it remove makeup effectively?
Well, i took the chance to take some “results” pictures when i removed my makeup a photo shoot i had last week. Please note that this is only one side of my face, with full makeup (foundation, concealer, powder, and blusher) minus eye makeup cause i always remove it first with the L’Oreale eye makeup remover.

Cotton pad #1 and #2

Cotton pad #3 and #4
So it took me 5 cotton pads to completely remove my face makeup. I didn’t take a close up on the 5th cotton pad because it was pretty much clean, so no point.
The Cleansing Water makes my skin feel rather refreshed after removing my makeup because of its chamomile extract and hyaluronic acid ingredients.
Even though it seems like my makeup is completely removed, i would still double cleanse to be on the safe side at least.
Overall, the All-In-1 Moisturizing Cleansing Water by Cyber Colors is quite alright. However i’m wondering why is it called all-in-one when it doesn’t remove eye makeup? Questionable, right? But i guess it’s okay to use if you don’t mind using separate removers for eye and face makeup.
I’m not sure whether would i buy it again because i’m still loyal to Shu Uemura’s Cleansing Oil. I’ll be getting my replacement for that one soon, it’s just a matter of time until i can collect it from the company :)
Tron: Legacy

Honestly, i didn’t know what to expect from Tron. I could say that i know nothing about it. I may know a little about it by stumbling upon random Tron-related images on the net like this one, but other than that, zero.
So i watched Tron last night and i must say that i quite like this movie. The visuals and sounds were such a pleasure. I think they definitely made the right choice by having Daft Punk to compose the film score.
Oh and the make up in Tron is awesome. Super thick liner and spider lashes!
Now i really feel like buying the Tron disk thingies that we saw at the toy store just for the fun of it.
