New Hair
I paid a visit to number76 at Bangsar yesterday. If you have black roots growing as long as two and a half inches like me, it’s high time to visit the salon and get your hair done.

Before / After
“Omg, Jamie, your hair…” Yes, i know, my hair before is damn yuck looking. I’m embarrassed too. But just so you know, my hair after was beautifully styled before the picture was taken too. Let’ just hope it’ll look as nice as that when i do it on my own.
Anyway, my hair is actually quite long and thick, but due to the layering i got from the previous haircut, it doesn’t seem like it. This time, i told Yoshi i want my hair to look thick again. I also got a darker colour. Yoshi simply picked a colour out of a magazine and i nodded in agreement, and that was it. I also did the famous Ultrasonic Iron Treatment because my crunchy hair desperately needed some attention.
Colour, treatment and a haircut from a senior director came up to a bill of RM 518. What a price to pay for beauty. But i like my new hair though. It’s a lot better now, don’t you think? :)
p/s: I think my colour is a lot darker in real life compared to the picture. My camera’s lighting is way off.
How I Curl My Hair
For quite some time, followers have been asking me about how i curl my hair. Some even requested for a tutorial. Well to be honest, i never had any specific technique on curling my hair before. However after watching this tutorial on YouTube, i started using this technique more recently and i really like the results.
If you like how i curl my hair, then you should try following this tutorial by StyleSuzi.
p/s: I’m using a 32mm Babyliss curler. My hair is also cut and layered in a way that it’s suited for outward curls.
Liese: Hair Cocktail Review
So last week i went on a little harvest and got myself Liese’s Hair Cocktail. It was quite a spontaneous buy-for-fun kinda purchase because honestly i wasn’t too keen on Liese at first.
I don’t know.. something about some of their packaging, i guess. It took me a while to convince myself to put this product into my shopping basket.
I actually bought Liese’s Hair Cocktail before reading the reviews so i didn’t know what kind of results this product will deliver, which explains why i was skeptical.
But we all know never to judge something from its looks.
Liese’s Hair Cocktail is a moisturizing hair serum that nourishes and smoothens dry frizzy hair. The first layer of the serum is an anti-frizz oil, while the second layer is nourishing water.
The product has to be shaken well in order to mix the two layers together. And it will look a bit like mango juice after it’s been shaken.

Another reason why it took me so long to decide whether to buy this product or not was because i had no idea what it smells like. The product was nicely packed in a box and there wasn’t any testers around Watsons.
I briefly scanned the back of the box and it states that the Hair Cocktail contains peach leaf and prune extracts. Like we all know how PRUNES smell like, right!
Prunes make me think of old people :S
But it’s a hair product so i suppose it will smell like something divine. And it does!
It smells very fruity; more like peaches. I never thought fruity scents could smell this good! It makes me wanna eat my own hair. There are also many other reviews saying that it smells amazing.
And as for the product’s performance..

Before use

After use
Well the pictures don’t do the product justice. I don’t think the results are properly captured in these pictures. But i suppose you can see that my hair is less frizzy and shaggy-looking after using Liese’s Hair Cocktail (please please agree!)
It smells awesome and it doesn’t feel oily and gross after use either. It doesn’t weigh down my hair and it keeps it fluffy.
Since the first use, it’s a must for me to apply it every time after blowdrying my hair. I’m glad i bought this product. I have really bad hair and this product helps manage it a bit.
I would definitely recommend all the ladies to give this a try if you have dry and frizzy hair like me :)

Bumpits
Why didn’t i come across these sooner? Damn i’m outdated. Gotta surf more shopping/beauty sites, hmpf.
Anyway, has anyone tried them? I need some feedback regarding bumpits cause i’m thinking of trying them out. Lend me your sugar, i am your neighbour! It will be much appreciated :)
