Why didn’t i come across these sooner? Damn i’m outdated. Gotta surf more shopping/beauty sites, hmpf.
Anyway, has anyone tried them? I need some feedback regarding bumpits cause i’m thinking of trying them out. Lend me your sugar, i am your neighbour! It will be much appreciated :)

I got them from a shop which i stumbled upon to at Timesquare. RM 38 for 10 pairs in a box. Extremely light and versatile. Loving it cause it looks more natural and subtle compared to my Shu Uemura “party lashes”.

A package came in for me on Saturday morning. Hmm.. a Valentine’s gift perhaps? Be on the look out for some more facial product reviews! Test subject will be yours truly :)

I felt super tall in these 5 inch babies. Oooh *shivers*
I got them from a little funky boutique at Sg Wang’s top floor for RM 109.90. Much thanks to Kel Li for the advises and encouragement, and Nigel for the “male comments” :p

Today i went shopping at Sunway Pyramid and i’m quite happy with today’s harvest. I’ve been looking high and low for some layered tops that would fit me nicely to go with a high waist skirt.
Forever 21 has a few but they don’t fit me very well and the colours didn’t really look good on me. Fortunately i found this top at a random boutique (didn’t see the name of the boutique cause usually i just walk right in) in Asian Avenue.
It’s subtle and i really like the colours cause they go well with my skin tone. And the best part - it was on discount and i got it for only RM 20!
Sometimes you gotta really dig deep for good finds, even if the shop/boutique doesn’t look too appealing. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover (yaya overused cliche idiom but it’s true)

This one is gonna be for the ladiesss..
My mum is the kind of person who doesn’t deliver her advices in the most graceful way, but i gotta admit that i kinda like it that way cause she gives some pretty damn good advices in her own honest (and sometimes awkward) ways.
I will always remember the things she said. Not only because she repeats them almost everyday, but also because the things she says are important and true. I even started practicing some of them.
One of her advices that i’ve started practicing is going for facials. My mum said i should invest on going for facials at least once every month to maintain my complexion and youth when i get older.
Mummy knows best!
Actually, i should have started doing facials regularly a long time ago but it’s still not too late to start now. I’ll be joining the 2club this year anyway, so.. IT’S TIME! Time to get serious!
I’m really glad that i went to the facial spa that Cai Jin recommended early this month. I learnt so much from there while having my facial.
After my session at Cellnique, i semangat wanna start taking care of my skin seriously. So every day and night i’ll apply my facial products without fail no matter how lazy or drunk TIRED i am.

One thing i learnt from Cellnique is that using a facial wash that is meant for acne doesn’t necessarily mean that it will stop acne from popping out. Having one or two pimples doesn’t mean you have to start using an acne facial wash for the rest of your life.
So i’ve been doing it wrong!
This Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser from Kiehl’s that i’m currently using is actually more suitable for oily and pimple-prone skin.
My skin is the sensitive type with a combination of dry and oily (T-zone area) skin so using this is not exactly suitable for me as a cleaner that’s suited for combination skin would be better for me.
Using a facial cleaner that’s not suitable for your skin can cause it to become more dry and that’s when your skin start secreting more sebum. Therefore, more pimples!
So to counter this, we need apply moisturizer. Or just find a more suitable cleanser that doesn’t dry out the skin too much. I’d prefer a more suitable cleanser for better results.

Facial scrub is very important and it should be done at least once or twice a week. It gets rid of the dead skin cells, blackheads, whiteheads and what nots.
I remain loyal to St. Ives apricot scrub. I’ve been using it for years! The results are glorious when it’s combined with..

Cellnique’s Skin Action Sebum Gel. I got this for RM 159 from the facial spa with no regrets cause of the results it brings.
It’s a gel that reduces oil secretion, blackheads and whiteheads. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks already and my T-zone is not as congested and rough as before. Smooth, in fact!
An advice from Cai Jin, the gel must be applied consistently or else the congestion will come back. Lagi semangat apply this!

After applying the sebum gel, moisturizer is a must. I got back to using the one i got from Kiehl’s. It’s not so bad now. Best thing i love bout this moisturizer is that it doesn’t leave an oily sticky feeling. Fresh!
And i know i skipped the toner. My bad.. must start using toner, ugh!

Hmm.. eye cream.
I can’t say much about the results cause i don’t really see the results on myself. I apply it every night and i try to apply it during the day too. But i always stay up late facing the TV screen and PC monitor, how to improve like that?
Instead i saw improvements on the boyfriend instead so.. i guess it’s good. And i suppose it does reduce the puffiness hmm..

Ah the Shu Uemura base that i quite love. It’s a must whenever i plan to put make up on.
It evens out the skin tone and minimizes the appearance of pores. And it’s amazing how long this little bottle can last cause you only need a small portion (20 cent size or less) for the whole face.

This one here is an additional one.
Sometimes i’ll use it to freshen up my face or set my make up. However it takes skill to spray it on - not too near, not too far.
So that’s it for now. I’ll come back to this topic again if i have anything newww..

Ugh, M.A.C did it again. More fancy packaging and this time they look so pretty and classy. I’m slain. They have really nice lip colours too in this collection. Check out the pink lip gloss - sheer metallic pink with white pearl, pretty! But too bad i don’t wear lip gloss anymore, meh. And the design for the sheer powder just blows me away.
Someone please get them for the behalf of me, hehe! I said for the behalf of me, not for me k! No, serious!

I’ve been holding back on spending ever since my last outbreak.. which was about a month ago. I took the time to settle my debt for using plastic money. So far i’ve paid off half of it, phew!
BUT THEN.. i just got paid yesterday. Oh yes!

Ahem. There there.. go easy now.
I decided to invest on some facial care.. again. The last set i bought didn’t suit my skin and it gave me breakouts instead. I was rather disappointed, but then i figured that the products were too rich for my skin i guess.
So today, i went to Kiehl’s to get a couple of stuff.

This is the blemish cream that i’ve heard so much about. It’s been sold out in One Utama’s branch for months and according to the sales girl in Mid Valley’s branch, it’s one of their best sellers.
Kiehl’s Blemish Control Daily Skin-clearing Treatment (RM 110) helps to dry and reduce blemishes AND lighten scars. It can also be used on white/blackheads.
This cream sounds very credible, but whether it’s truly affective for me or not, i’ll be the judge of that.
Another thing i got is their lip balm. But this time, in pear flavour! New flavours pear, cranberry, and mint are limited editions so it’s worth giving them a try since they won’t be around for long.. or not. RM 35

Well i have to admit that after using the Body Shop’s lip balm for more than a month, it didn’t help improve my lips at all. They’re still dry and peeling. So that’s why i decided to move back to Kiehl’s. Though i have to be careful not to leave the lip balm at hot places next time.
Go get get get! I would recommend Mid Valley’s branch cause the staff there are really nice. Oh and they give a lot of free samples too hehe.
