Love love soft huggable things. I sneakily took this shot with Photobooth earlier today while studying, hoho! I swear i have designer bags under my eyes, had to edit them away :o
Arghhh so close yet so far! I’ve got two more papers to go and i totally feel like slacking already. My last paper ends at Tuesday so be ready then cause i’ll be unleashing a whole lot of posts *roars!*
I’ve got so many things in mind; things that i want to do after my exams. I’ll be on holidays for the whole of July, so i’ve got a month to myself. First things first, i’m gonna clear the pending posts i have. Plenty of pictures to edit from previous events, hope you guys will still have the interest to take a look even though it’s super delayed haha!
I’ve made some plans for this blog; i’m gonna be bringing a version 2.0 to this place. Oh and i’m pretty sure about selling some of my makeup. Those that’s been touch once or twice, or even never. Nothing much though, probably just one or two.
Leave me a comment if you have any suggestions on what i can add to version 2.0 of jamiechin.com. I’m thinking of getting a formspring. Oh and do tell me what other things you would like to see more of on this blog in terms of posts :)

It’s time of the month again. Everything is happening at the same time! I just sprouted an angry acne a couple of days ago. I knew it would come. All the anxiety from my final exams plus raging hormones from PMS. It came right on time! GRR!
Thank goodness for Nixoderm. I’ve been trying to apply Nixoderm whenever i can, and so far it kinda managed to control that little pest.
Oh and i managed to knick a whole box of Brand’s essence of chicken from the panda’s place yesterday. Gonna be taking shots of these to stay sharp :o

Random buys from Sunway today. I was there with Lady Aw for lunch and we did some shopping after. I restocked my mascara, this time i’m trying Dejavu’s new mascara for extra volume. The previous fiberwig mascara i was using was just for lengthening. Can’t wait to try this :)
Oh and we tried on some funky coloured frames at Forever 21, and we decided that we’ll find ourselves a pair of funkier glasses some where else. And then we stumbled upon the bling frames while walking around Asian Avenue.
We bought two bling frames and decided to share em. But Jingi had to take the big red one home for now. Suits her as she was wearing red, and i was in black :p
This deserves a Photobooth shot.
The moustache is starting to grow on me. I shall be.. Luigi! And we no speak Americano :o

Live update!
I just got back from a shoot for iFeel. It’s been a while cause everyone’s been busy. Anyway, my eyelids are super tired from the shoot. It was all about false lashes!
I kinda like how the pictures turn out. Everyone from the shoot said i look more grown up now. Well you’ll get to see for yourself in the July issue of iFeel ;)
That aside, i’m thinking that i should try wearing some lipstick next time. I think lips look so pretty in pink. And not to mention the super defined cupid’s bow when you apply lipstick precisely with a brush, woo!

Okay, quick one. So here is a list of things that’s been going on but i haven’t got the chance to blog about. I’ll try my best to remember and list them in chronology.
1. I got my hair digital perms. For free :o
2. Honestly, i didn’t really like it. So i added some highlights on the same day. For free :o
3. Still didn’t like it. However, i went for a haircut a couple of days later and got my hair layered. Loving it now ;)
4. I finally got a laptop!
5. I went down to Singapore during one of the weekends and did a little shopping there. Picturesss!
6. I dyed my hair to brown. Me likes
7. There was a pretty bad storm a couple of days ago, and my main pc monitor got struck by lightning. It kinda died.
8. I’ve yet to install Photoshop on my laptop.
9. I’ve got a couple of new stuff to share with you ladies, so be on the look out!
10. And last but not least, we hit the one year mark today :)
There will be updates soon! Show me some love if you’re looking forward to it, cause i am :D
But if i don’t see any, then i’ll just..

It’s Star Wars Day today!
May 4th is called Star Wars Day (also sometimes known as Luke Skywalker Day) because of a pun on the similarity between “May the 4th be with you” and “May the Force be with you”, a phrase often spoken in the Star Wars movies.
If i found out sooner, i would’ve went around college and telling people “May the 4th be with you” today. Oh well, it’s still not too late.
Anyway, as a tribute i followed Darth Vader on Twitter. Shame on me for not doing so earlier.

Pepsi’s been complaining that i should learn up some cooking from the maid since ever. So one day, i decided that i’ll do something about it. It was one of those random days a couple of weeks ago, i can’t really remember.
I had the mood so.. mmm.
I picked the Club Sandwich cause it’s easy i’ve been thinking about it since the last time i ate it. It was during my last visit in Singapore.
I did some research online and bought the ingredients the next day.
Black Label bacon, don’t mess
Making it isn’t hard at all (please it’s just a sandwich). The only tricky part would be cooking the bacon. See, i have a thing about bacon. And i want my bacon to be perfect for my sandwich. How oddly particular, right.
So i found the best and easiest way to cook bacon - via oven.
Look at them fats
Bacon: Weeee!! *sizzles*
About 100 degrees celcius for 15 to 20 minutes, depending on how you like your bacon to be. For me, i wanted them to be a little crispy, so i went for about 20 minutes.
I monitored them closely, checking on them every there and then until they’re ready. When they start having little bubbles on them, it means that they’re almost ready.
Oh, and the smell of bacon cooking in the oven is absolutely GLORIOUS. Mm yes, glorious.. like sun rays beaming those kind.
Ingredients: Toasted bread, bacon, tomatoes, romaine lettuce, mayonnaise, and chicken ham
End product
And the verdict?
It’s good. Come on, you can never go wrong with a sandwich. It’s easy to make and it tastes good. What more with bacon and ham plus mayo, mmm.
The kitchen is a bloody sweat club, by the way. Phew!
