Loot: SaSa Lashes
So it’s been quite some time since i last shopped at Sasa. I remember that i used to go there pretty often and i would spend probably about 10 – 15 minutes in the store. I don’t even know why i had so many things to buy from Sasa then.
Anyway, last weekend i decided to make my way to Sasa for a couple of things.

For the past couple of months, i’ve taken a liking for dramatic lashes again.
I could say that i’ve been wearing handmade lashes for a good year now. They’re the kind that comes in a box of 10 pairs and they’re all really light and soft. Handmade lashes are perfect for day time use, but personally i think that they don’t stand out enough for me during night time.
I know you can layer on lashes to make them thicker and whatnots, but handmade lashes are harder to maintain for multiple usage.
So since i only wear fake eyelashes during night time for fancy dinners and clubbing and such, i figured why the hell not just go for them thick-ass lashes?

Canmake No. 03; RM 22
This is probably my favourite pair of lashes.
It was recommended to me by Lady Aw a couple of years ago and it’s the only pair of lashes from 2010 that i’m still keeping, which recently i’ve been using a lot too.
The secret to keeping fake eyelashes is to always return them back to their packaging to maintain the original shape of the lash bone.

Heavy Rotation Styling Eyelash 04 Baby Style; RM 42.90
Now this is something new. I didn’t know that Heavy Rotation had fake eyelashes. Since Heavy Rotation is one of (i would say) recommended brands, i was glad to give them a try. Plus, the designs were actually quite pretty.
They had other styles such as Doll, Rich and Pop.

I picked Baby Style cause.. i don’t know. I wasn’t quite ready to try the other styles?
I wasn’t too sure how the other styles would look on me, so i decided to just go with a design i’m more familiar with. It’s kinda like those Taiwanese handmade lashes, but longer and better quality.

Dolly Wink Eyelash Fix; RM 45.90
And lastly, eyelash glue.
Honestly, i wasn’t too happy with the new packaging. I thought it was a knockoff at first cause.. i mean, look at it. Personally, i prefer the old packaging a lot better compared to this one but they don’t have it anymore. And trust me, it looks better here in picture.
So apparently this is from a new product line called Otona, which means ‘adult’ in Japanese.
It comes in clear and black variations, but unfortunately we only have the clear one here. Frankly i think the black packaging looks better.
So that’s it on my harvest from Sasa! I’m looking forward to try the Heavy Rotation lashes and hopefully i’ll be able to get a good picture of it in action.
For the mean time, don’t forget to follow me on Twitter and Instagram if you haven’t already :)
Loot: Forever21
I had a rather decent harvest today. Surprisingly, half of them were from Forever 21. I seldom shop over there cause sizing is a problem. However occasionally i find some items that tickle my pickle. And if i’m lucky, they fit.

Hipster Panda tote bag; RM 5

Hip Hop Bunny cropped top; RM 55
I bought this in M because they only had M and L left. I don’t care that it’s a size bigger cause i GOTSS to have it. I’m gonna just wear it as like an oversized off-shoulder tee or something, yeh.
Also, there’s heaps of basic tops all over Forever 21. I grabbed a couple for myself and it’s RM 15 for one. Just letting you ladies know cause sharing is caringgg ヽ( ´ ー ` )ノ
Loot: Random stuff
You know, i gotta admit that retail therapy works bests for me. Clothes, makeup or whatever, as long as i get to buy what i want to buy.
Wants and needs are two different things, and it feels damn good to be indulging in your wants *rubs palms*
I made a quick trip to Sunway Pyramid for two things – Daiso and Watsons.
Though i didn’t find the things that i initially wanted to buy Daiso, i managed to get a couple of other things that would come in handy..
.. For my Melbourne tripppp!

Yes! Tickets and accommodation are all confirmed for Melbourne on 19th August. I’m so excited!

It’s free size, so it’s kinda big for my feet. But still.. to keep my feet nice and warm!

My loot from Watsons that’s probably worth sharing
I restocked on my mascara even though i still have some left cause i’m greedy like that. I also bought a mini Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid face wash for my travel. I like the fact that all the Hada Labo facial wash has mini-mes. They look really cute beside the normal sized ones.
And last but not least, i bought a box of facial masks from Face Q instead of the usual Hada Labo masks. The reason i picked Face Q over Hada Labo is cause they’re cheaper. Also, Face Q is a sister brand of My Beauty Diary. So i suppose that they are as good.
For a box of 10 pieces of facial masks, Face Q is only RM 39.92. However, Hada Labo masks costs about RM 35+ for a box that has only 4 pieces!
It’s time to be beauty savvy *nods*

It’s just too bad that everything is written in Chinese.
I just did my facial routine last night, so i won’t be trying these babies out until next week. I’m having some good expectations from them!
Loot: NYX, Bobbi Brown and M.A.C
I think this post pretty much concludes the last of my makeup buys for the past couple of months. Not sure if i’ll be buying anymore any time soon but i will definitely let you guys know if i do.
So i can finally talk about my NYX products that i got from the forum cause i’ve been making rather use of them. I received them around July, so now you know how long it takes for me to write a review *shifty eyes*
Ahem. Anyway, here they are.

NYX Trio Eye Shadow

Nude | Taupe | Brown

I was very excited to get the Trio Eye Shadow in shades of brown because i recently have a thing for brown eyeshadows. However, i was quite disappointed with the Trio Eye Shadow for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, the actual colour is far off from what was shown on the NYX website. So far the only colour that i make most use of is Brown. As for the other two colours Nude and Taupe, i’ve only used them once or twice.
Either way, i should’ve known better that NYX is horrible for their swatches on their website so it was my mistake for not doing more research on it.
Secondly, i chose to buy the Trio Eye Shadow cause i wanted to depot the shadows and transfer them to my M.A.C palette. However this NYX palette packaging is different. From what i’ve googled, i think it’s a newer packaging compared to the older ones, so i don’t think i can depot them.
But nonetheless, i’ve been using the NYX shadows a lot recently so it shows that it serves me well. The colours come out rather nice too.

Besides that i also bought 2 brushes from NYX. Nothing much to shout about, but once again some how the brushes from US are always cheaper. I got them for around RM 20 each.
I found the slanting contour brush was extremely helpful when contouring my nose. I’m glad that i didn’t have to resort to buying an expensive slanting contour brush from Bobbi Brown.
And that’s all i got from NYX. Now it’s time for M.A.C!
I got to attend the annual Estee Lauder staff sale last month thanks to Jen. I can say that i’m very happy with this year’s purchase because i didn’t buy anything that wasn’t on my list and i can foresee that i will be making full use of everything i bought.
I can’t really recall the price for each of them, but i’m sure that the price for each of them didn’t exceed RM 100 except for the perfume.

DKNY Be Delicious set; RM 140

Three for RM 70*

Swatches; colours are more or less accurate
This particular trio t was my best find in the pile of lip products during the sale. The lip products were all packed and sealed in threes, and the one i found had the best combination of colours.
And the best part was that the packet had the lipgloss that i’ve been looking for – the Cremesheen Lipglass in Boy Bait!!
Best!

M.A.C eyeshadow quad; In the Gallery

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow and Long Wear Gel Eyeliner; RM 70

Ash and Mahogany Ink
That’s all for now! Hope you enjoyed this post and i will be posting up a look i did using some of these products soon :)
Loot: Clean & Clear Oil Blotters
It’s a random buy but i thought i’d post it up just to share with you ladies. I was making a quick trip to the pharmacy and i remembered that i ran out of oil blotters. So i went to get my refill and to my surprise, i found Clean & Clear oil blotters in pink packaging!
It’s pink grapefruit scented oil blotters, how odd.

However the oil blotters inside are not pink coloured though. Meh, would be cuter if they were though. And the blotters smell like.. well, pink grapefruit i guess. It smells alright, sort of citrusy.
Overall, it’s just like any other blotter. Just scented :)
Some how today isn’t really my day. I went solo to run some errands today and they weren’t so smooth. And some how even the smallest thing contributes to my grumpiness; like this stupid air freshener -_-;;

New car scent, it seems. My ass!
Not only it requires a weird way of using it, but it also smells nothing like a new car scent. I was looking forward to use this air freshener so much when i got it weeks ago. How disappointing.
One thing good is that the smell is very strong. The down side is that i hated the smell and it was so overpowering until i got a headache for inhaling too much of it.
Imagine the smell if i removed it completely from the plastic. I could’ve died.

However i’m all about giving the benefit of the doubt, so i’m gonna leave it in my car until the next time i drive it.
I have the leather scented one and i sure hope it will actually smell like leather instead of some cheap ass scent i can’t describe.
Okay so after going through a couple of bumps while running my errands, i decided to go for a little retail therapy. Who would’ve that i would also encounter some bumps while trying to relax. Grumpy much!
But anyways i ended up buying necessities and a couple of things i felt like buying from Sasa and Watsons. Nothing i would go beaming and melting over at. Most boring (but i suppose useful) harvest ever.
Here are some of the stuff that’s worth sharing.

One of two loots from Sasa. I’ll be looking forward to using this with my lipsticks and lipglosses. If it turns out well, i’ll probably use it to do on-lip swatches on some lipsticks and lipglosses :)
And as for the other product from Sasa, it’s Dejavu’s Lash Knockout mascara. Love it so i’m restocking it. I tried to do a review on it but i gave up cause i couldn’t capture the results of the mascara properly. Nonetheless, i would recommend this mascara.

Liese’s Hair Cocktail Moisturizing Hair Serum from Watsons. Bought this for the sake of buying. Oh and trying *cough*
I was actually look for Essential but they didn’t have it. Initially i asked my sister to buy me some Essential products from Singapore before coming home last weekend, but she Essential is available in KL. I have no idea where to find it. Does anyone know?
If we don’t have it here, then obviously we have to get it from Singapore *hint*
However, i’m very sure that we can only get it from Singapore cause i checked the site. Ahjie if you’re reading this you know what to do. I want stuff from the orange range.

These are also for trying.
I’m having hair issues recently so i hope these will comfort me a bit.
